🔥Mother’s Day SERMON HIGHLIGHTS from Lady Duke🔥
Topic: ✨ From Naked & Afraid To ➡️ Clothed & Confident ✨
📖 “And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.”— Genesis 2:25 (NKJV)
📖 “I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid.”— Genesis 3:10 (NKJV)
What changed?A lie was believed… and innocence turned into exposure.
🔹 Naked = exposed, uncovered, unprotected
🔹 Afraid = fear, anxiety, shame, insecurity
God created humanity to live fully known, fully loved, and fully confident in His presence.But when Adam and Eve believed the serpent’s lie, sin entered, and what was once innocence became shame.
🧠 From Innocence to Exposure
•God created everything good (Genesis 1)
•Man was made in God’s image
•Two trees in the midst of the garden:
🌳 Tree of Life
🌳 Tree of Knowledge of Good & Evil
•God’s command was clear—obedience brings life
💡 The enemy twisted God’s word.📖 “He is a liar and the father of it.” — John 8:44
🚨 The Pattern Still Exists Today
•Believe the lie → sin follows
•Sin produces shame → hiding from God
•Covering ourselves instead of running to Him
📖 “He who covers his sins will not prosper, but whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy.”— Proverbs 28:13 (NKJV)
🙌🏾 But God…Even after the fall, God clothed Adam and Eve. Grace was present even in judgment.
And today—we are clothed even better.

📖 “For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.”— Galatians 3:27 (NIV)
📖 “He has clothed me with the garments of salvation… the robe of righteousness.”— Isaiah 61:10 (NKJV)
💪 CONFIDENT IN CHRIST 💪🏾
📖 “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind.”— 2 Timothy 1:7 (NKJV)
📖 “Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace…”— Hebrews 4:16 (NKJV)
📖 “Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it…”— Philippians 1:6 (NKJV)
⚠️ A FINAL WARNING & A FUTURE HOPE ⚠️📖 “Blessed is the one who stays awake and remains clothed…”— Revelation 16:15 (NIV)
We are saved, but we must stay awake.The battle is real—but the outcome is already decided.👉 WE WIN.
🌿 And one day… the Tree of Life returns.

No longer afraid.
Now clothed… and confident… in JESUS. ✨
