Centre Congregational Church We are an Open & Affirming congregation of the United Church of Christ, located in Centre of Lynnfield. Learn more about us on our website & YouTube Channel.

We have been the church in the centre for 300 years and counting. Centre Congregational Church Worship is held each Sunday at 10am. After worship we gather for fellowship which usually involves cake. Church school and childcare are provided as per the schedule on our website homepage. We are a gathering of all ages, genders, religious backgrounds and worship experiences, sociocultural and political experiences and beliefs, and family configurations. We are all sorts of people from all walks of life, who are united in a common purpose. We are seeking to discover God's unfolding purpose for our lives and our world, as revealed through Jesus Christ.

A big weekend at Centre Church this weekend!

First we’ll be praying for our kids and for all those returning to school in Lynnfield this coming week.

And then we have a lemonade stand to raise money for the Heifer International Living Gift Market that Kids@CCC have been learning about this summer.

On July 9, 2026, NOBLE-MA will host a Student Summit on Youth–Police Relations: The event is free to all and will be held at the Tufts University Joyce Cummings Center located at 177 College Avenue in Medford, MA from 10AM-2PM.

This event is a collaborative event designed to foster open dialogue, mutual understanding, and trust between young people and law enforcement.

The summit will bring together students and police officers from the greater Boston and Brockton areas along with educators, community leaders, and activists to explore the challenges and opportunities shaping their interactions today.

Our Lynnfield community is reeling from yet another incident of racism in our schools. Our community is hurting.

On Sunday our service will be focused on justice, remembering the fight for freedom, praying over our hurting town and focusing in on what Jesus taught us to be and do.

All are welcome to join us. Come as you are. Come into the safe place of the sanctuary. Come to the safe place of the Centre Church community.

This event is inspired by members of the Lynnfield High School Gay Straight Alliance. Courageous and hopeful young people who want their community, the Lynnfield community, to come over to the Common for a fun family event.
