Christ's Helping Hands Ministry strives to be sensitive to the work of the Lord. We are always looking for ways to bless those who are in need and spread the Word of God. After a lot of prayer Pastor Brian and Ruth started "Christ's Helping Hands Ministry" on July 6, 2012. Pastor Brian Chabot felt a burning desire in his heart about starting a ministry to reach people who are in need. After eight
months of prayer and fasting Pastor Brian spoke with the Senior Pastor of Candlestick of God, Matias Gonzales, about beginning his own ministry. With the blessing of Pastor Matias we opened our doors July 6, 2012. The second Friday our sister Sarah joined us our ministry. Ruth ask her if she would be interested in picking out songs for the ministry from week to week. At first our church did not have name. We needed a name, but not just a name. We wanted God to give us the name of our ministry. Pastor Brian ask everyone to pray and ask God for the name of our ministry. Pastor Brian asked the ministry not to share the name God placed in their heart with anyone. Pastor wanted to see if their would be similarities in the names we prayed upon. After many weeks of praying we wrote eleven names on a piece of wood (yes a piece of wood). Pastor Brian ask for us to pray on the names presented. After weeks of prayer our congregation voted on a name. Finally, on August 31, 2012, the votes were in and the name chosen was Christ's Helping Hands. We as a ministry felt the passion to be God's hands and feet to reach out to others. Since then with been carrying out different acts of love to those who are in need. We welcome everyone who has a heart for others and willing hands to be part our ministry. Our ministry is all about being Christ's Helping Hands.
