Isaiah 5:20
“Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness, who substitute bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter.”

These are trying times for the Body of Christ. We are in a time when the warning of Isaiah is becoming ever more evident, the lines of Truth and Lie have been crossed, and many ministries struggle with balancing relevance and revelation. Where head count is greater than heart transformation.

Let us not distort Love and Grace with conformity.

1 Peter 1:15-16
But as the one who called you is holy, you also are to be holy in all your conduct; for it is written, Be holy, because I am holy.

Influence and Authenticity

All throughout the book of Acts we read about the many places visited by the Apostle Paul during his missionary journey. In most of these cities there was a prominent Jewish presence. Many of the cultures and societies were already groomed by God with pseudo religious understanding. Jesus is the authentic understanding of Truth that many still reject today. It were those outside the people of God that received him the most, excepting Truth over Religion.

Today our cities and communities are filled with churches and assemblies that influence (good and bad) the population around us. Let us ensure that our message is authentic, pointing only to Faith in Jesus Christ and surrender to His commandments of Love and Holiness.

**YOUTH MOVIE EVENT**

We apologies for the short notice, but we are reserving a showing of David at the Richmond AMC theatre on Sunday February 1st at 2:00pm. We would love to see the youth and parents at the show. We have a minimum of 20 tickets, so need to have an idea of interest in order to coordinate tickets.

We would cover the ticket for each child and parent per household. Concessions and additional tickets are available at the theatre. If interested, please message us here or reach our to any church member you may have contact information.
