We can’t stop thinking about Vision Sunday and the powerful reminder Pastor Kurt shared with our church:

After 25 years of ministry, one thing remains true:
Same God. Same Mission.

We’re still believing for healing, freedom, restoration, revival, and transformed lives in Lynn and beyond.

“We are the receipts. The evidence that Jesus is still transforming lives.”

Our prayer for the next 25 years is that people would never go out the way they came in.
That the broken would find healing.
That the hopeless would encounter peace.
That chains would be broken in the name of Jesus.

The mission continues—and we believe greater things are still ahead.

Throwback to Vision Sunday 💭

“How will we know the Spirit of God is moving?
When the good news is preached, the broken are healed, people are set free, and the peace of God expands throughout our city.”

Still believing for lives transformed in Lynn. Still believing people won’t leave the same way they came in.

📖 “You are to be holy to me because I, the Lord, am holy…” — Leviticus 20:26

We know Leviticus can feel confusing when you’re new to reading the Bible 😅
But this month reminded us that even the difficult parts of Scripture help us understand more about who God is.

Through the laws, sacrifices, and instructions, we see:
* God wants to be close to His people
* holiness means being set apart for God
* worship involves every part of life
* the Old Testament helps us better understand Jesus

If you got behind or are just starting, don’t worry — there’s still time to jump in and keep reading with us 📚✨

Check the link in our bio for the Leviticus resource + handout to help guide you through it!

Jesus calls us to have compassion for others!

If we convince ourselves that someone deserves the pit they're in, it becomes easier to excuse ourselves from helping them out.

Jesus didn’t come to be added onto our old life—He came to make us new.

Like Zacchaeus, following Jesus means surrendering the mess, laying down our old ways, and receiving a brand-new life in return. The gospel isn’t behavior modification or adding a cross to our chaos.

It’s transformation.

“The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.” ✨

🥎 Meet Lynnsanity! 🥎

Our church softball team is back for the summer, and Monday nights are always a good time. Come cheer on our friends from church as they play against other churches from around the area—full of fellowship, laughs, friendly competition, and some good ol’ softball.

Join us Mondays at 6PM at Gallagher Park in Lynn all summer long ☀️

Bring a chair or blanket and some snacks to share—we’d love to have you out there with us!

Meet the Team | Pastor David Urbina 👋

If you’ve been welcomed at the door, prayed for during a hard season, or connected into serving at ECIC, there’s a good chance you’ve met Pastor David Urbina.

Pastor David first came to ECIC in 2010 while attending Northpoint Bible College with his wife Emily. What started as a search for a Spanish-speaking church quickly became home—and he’s been part of the family ever since.

A few things you might not know about him:
🎸 He loves 80s hard rock
🎛️ He makes beats in his home studio
📚 He thrift shops for books on super niche subjects
🏝️ His dream destination is Torres del Paine in Chilean Patagonia
📺 And yes… he’s watched every single episode of Survivor

If you ask him where to eat in Lynn, he’ll probably send you to Tacos Lupita for a cow tongue burrito with hot sauce and a Coke 🌮

Pastor David oversees Pastoral Care at our church, facilities and several Sunday-focused ministry teams (i.e. such as Greeters, Ushers, Armor Bearers, Cleaning Team, etc, as well as Men's Ministries).

“God has used prayer to shape my life—learning that He listens generously to His children has changed my relationship with Him.”

Want to get connected or serve on a team? Pastor David would love to help you find a place where you can make a difference! :)

We don’t fight for victory — we fight from victory.

As Pastor Kurt closed out Sunday’s message, we were reminded that because of Jesus, the ultimate victory over sin, death, and darkness has already been secured. Even in a world still marked by brokenness, grief, injustice, and struggle, we live with hope knowing King Jesus has already overcome.

That’s why we keep praying.
That’s why we keep serving.
That’s why we keep building.
That’s why we don’t give up.

And one day, every tear will be wiped away and all things will be made new. Come quickly, Lord Jesus. ✨
