Christmas Eve Lessons and Carols by Candlelight
December 24, 2024 @ 4:00 p.m.

Join us this Christmas Eve for a beautiful candlelight service of lessons and carols as we celebrate the Nativity of our Savior. This time together will be filled with beloved carols, uplifting lessons, and Scripture readings telling the story of Christ’s birth. It’s a time to gather in joy and reflection, surrounded by light and song.

An invitation to join us for MAUNDY THURSDAY
Thursday, March 28 @ 7:00pm
We began Lent by confessing our sin and being marked with ashes. On this night we gather as Jesus’ disciples to receive a personal word of forgiveness as from the Lord himself.
In obedience to Jesus’ command to love one another, we bare our feet (or our hands) and allow them to be washed by one of our sister or brothers in faith. We celebrate the last supper — the meal he instituted on the night in which he was betrayed. Just as Jesus was stripped of his clothes as he was led to the cross, the night ends in total darkness with the stripping of the altar, as all the beautiful adornments in the church are put away, preparing us for the starkness of Good Friday.

We begin the season of Lent by coming home and starting anew. On Ash Wednesday we tell the truth about ourselves and our mortality. We return to the source of all goodness and mercy as we begin our 40 day journey together. Holy Communion with the Imposition of Ashes is at 7:00 PM this Wednesday.
