God sometimes allows events in our lives that do not seem to make sense. But the Lord is in control of ALL circumstances in our lives. He causes all things to work together for good to those who love him (Rom. 8:28). When we come through difficulties in life, we then can bring comfort to others who need it. You gain greater credibility in the eyes of the person you are ministering to when you yourself are going through something difficult or have come through it. Allow the lord to use you to bring much needed comfort to others. (II Corinthians 1:3, 4)
