Thanks so much for your prayers. We are in our last week doing research in Lagos, Nigeria and preaching and teaching at West Africa Theological Seminary. I preach tomorrow at a church here on Lagos Island. We leave here next Thursday Oct. 10-11 for our last TPI Institute in Choma, Zambia for about 250 pastors. There will be three flights covering over 24 hours, so pray for us as we travel there, teach and train the pastors for one week in Choma, and eventually, fly home on October 22-23 with three more flights, and arrive in Washington Dulles and are driven home by some good friends back to Lynchburg, VA.
By the time we get home, it will have been 9 weeks in Africa, one of our longest trips, but it has been very fruitful in that we will have had four TPI Institutes, many pastors trained, and over 50 people saved during the whole trip so far. The Lord has helped us make some great connections in Lagos for my PhD research, and has helped us collect much data and do many interviews to assist me to get further down the road to hopefully complete the first chapter of my dissertation (my proposal) by the end of the year. Please pray about that need as well.
Thank you again for your prayers and support because many pastors are benefitting and being trained for the Lord because of your faithfulness to the Lord in helping us fulfill this mission to train and equip these pastors. May the Lord be praised and glorified!
