It's an Ice Cream Party! Come cool off, tonight!, at 6:30 pm!

Dear Friends,
Please join us tonight for Welcome Wednesday, starting at 6:30 pm. Tonight is our 5th Wednesday Ice Cream Party! Come on out for fun conversation, games, and all the frozen goodness you can eat! We will have the stuff to make ice cream sundaes, floats, and other treats. You are welcome to bring your dinner as well, or eat before you come - or, even better, have ice cream for dinner! We will have a dairy-free option and a HFCS-free option for those who need them.
All are welcome to these fun and fellowship social events, designed with the whole family in mind. We will have some activities set-up in Drysdale Hall for children and anyone else who enjoys a creative outlet. Welcome Wednesday is a drop-in event - no need to RSVP or commit to every week. Come when you can and receive a warm welcome when you arrive.

Please join us tonight for Welcome Wednesday, starting at 6:30 pm. Tonight is Newcomers Night. Are you new to UU or just new to UUCL? Are you curious about who we are or what we do here? Or are you someone who has noticed the new faces around here and would like a chance to get to know them? If any of these sound like you, then tonight is made for you!

Bring your dinner or a snack, if you wish. I'll have watermelon to share! We'll chat and get to know one another. We'll try to answer any questions you may have and share information about some upcoming events at UUCL. Please see attachment for more information about tonight and future Welcome Wednesday events.

Friends,

We are again pivoting to Zoom-only for our service tomorrow (Sunday, February 1). Many thanks to those who have made inroads towards building accessibility, but we are no match for the layers of ice! We are fortunate to have the Rev. Eve Stevens with us tomorrow via Zoom and hope to see all of you there!

This service is a nod to the pagan celebration of Imbolc.
Though spring is still a ways away, Imbolc invites us to clear
out the winter cobwebs and prepare space so that spring
knows we are ready for her return. This service celebrates the
stirring of hope when progress seems forever frozen.
