Journey - MINDING Your Own
1Thess. 4:11 NLT Make it your goal to live a quiet life, minding your own business...
You have a business. It may not be a fortune 500 business, but it's still yours. Some people will want your business to be there business. You are governor of your business. You determine who gets in and out of your business. You are the manager of your business. You are also the one who determines how much of your business gets out. There are really only a handful of people that are into the business of others. Since they struggle to handle their own life, they want your life out there. No matter who's trying to get in your business, just keep minding your own business. Don't give business to people who don't mind their's. You keep minding your own life, and never give business to people who are a poor job of managing their life. Saint, live quietly and be mindful of your who gets in business. Mind your own, and you'll be better off for it.

Journey - It's NEVER TOO LATE!
Joel 2:12 NLT That is why the LORD says, “Turn to me now, while there is time. Give me your hearts. Come with fasting, weeping, and mourning.
You may feel overwhelmed by an unholy past. A past deeply stained with a life of sin. You may have given in to a lifelong battle of sins, that's left you with defeat, regrets, and depression. You want to believe GOD will accept you, but you just don't know what life looks like upon coming to Him. We forget the profound work of grace, when we're hung up by sin. Joel reminds us of the Father's Word to us, “Turn to me now, while there is time. Give me your hearts..." GOD is not turning you away, He's trying to get you to come! He's trying to move into the reality of His great love for you. Come back to Him today! Now! Don't wait in wonder, come to Him quickly! He says there is an urgency about it, "while there is still time." There will be a time, when you don't have time, but in this moment you still have time to turn around your life! It's Never Too Late when the Father is still moving you to come back.

Journey - IN HIDING
Gen. 3:8 NLT When the cool evening breezes were blowing, the man and his wife heard the LORD God walking about in the garden. So they hid from the LORD God among the trees.
We have never been good hiders. As kids, we would try to hide behind a tree that was too small for us to hide behind. If we did find a good place, we gave ourselves away by the noises we'd make. As we got older, we still tried to hide. Maybe not in the physical sense, but definitely in other ways. We try to hide in our emotions, our religion, our work, hobbies, and even in our guilt of sin. We think we're in hiding, but reality gives us away every time. In Genesis, Adam and Eve tell us that there is no hiding anything from GOD. They were hiding from the All-Knowing One! GOD knows all and sees all. We hide nothing from the Father. He sees all and knows all! Wherever your relationship with GOD is, He knows where you are in relationship with Him. If you're in hiding, come out and face the GOD with all the healing and restoration you need. Don't stay in hiding! GOD already knows where you are.

Journey - PREPARED
Dan. 12:2 NIV Multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake: some to everlasting life, others to shame and everlasting contempt.
We prepare for many events in life, but are we prepared for the most important event in life? Some debate the actual meaning of this passage. Some feel that it deals solely with the resurrection of the Saint, while others say it's only about eternity. Regardless of whether it's only about the resurrection or not, it does deal with where you're preparing to spend eternity! Some are preparing to spend eternity in everlasting life, while others in everlasting contempt! When your eyes close on this earth, they will open in one of two places, in heaven or in hell. If you are not preparing to go to heaven, then you are preparing to go to hell. If you're preparing for heaven, then you need not worry about hell. Are you prepared to go to heaven? Some say there is no hell. No place of punishment for the lost. It's not just about being lost, it's about the rejection of Christ as Savior and Lord. Accepting Him into your life, is the beginning of your access into heaven for eternity. A life lived for Christ, is a life spent in eternity. This is your day to prepare, and stay prepared for eternity.

Journey - REVIVED
John 11:43 NLT Then Jesus shouted, “Lazarus, come out!”
You cannot read through John, and not be stopped by such a moving account of the Savior's Power! Lazarus has been deceased for days when Christ walks on the scene. His sisters are an emotional wreck over the loss of their brother. The Savior is emotionally moved, but knows the Power He possesses. Christ doesn't revive Lazarus in the traditional sense. He has no defibrillator. He uses no chest compressions. Christ simply speaks out to the lifeless body of Lazarus. The dead body of Lazarus then responds to the authority of the Savior. His heart begins to beat. Blood rushes through his veins. Oxygen fills his lungs. His body is being revived back to life again! If Christ can revive a dead body, He can surely revive a living one. A body tired, weary, worn, and even diseased can be revived by the Savior! Your living body may possess an emotionally dead heart. No problem for the life reviving power of the Savior! When the Savior stands at the tomb of what's dead in your life, shouting for the real you to come out, you must respond! Come out of your dead state when you hear Him, and be revived back to life. The Savior's voice is your signal to come back to life. Don't stay in that state when you can have your life back. Get up and come out! Be revived!

Journey - I've Had ENOUGH!
1Kings 19:4 NLT ...He sat down under a solitary broom tree and prayed that he might die. “I have had enough, LORD,” he said. “Take my life..."
Elijah is one of the most prolific people of the Old Testament. An outstanding figure, among some of the greatest of all Biblical men. As bold as he was, he was still human as we are. A man who at one minute trusted GOD with all he had, but the next moment wanted to be dead. His powerful prayer of faith called down fire from heaven, but then took a fall in fear of a threat for his life. Elijah had all he could physically handle. He takes a seat under a tree, and says what we've said on some occasions, "I've Had Enough!" You may feel the same way about where you are right now. This place you are in life isn't good at all. Maybe you're in fear of the devil's threats. Maybe your tired of fighting. Maybe you feel burned out. It could be that you just feel done with life altogether. Whatever it is, just know that you've had enough! Saint, when you get to that place of "Had Enough," you must turn to the GOD Who is way More than Enough! Feelings of enemy pressure can't handle the GOD Who is Enough! He is all you need, when you find yourself in need. GOD filled Elijah with more than enough of His strength and hope to stay in the fight for life! The GOD of Elijah will do the same for you, when you feel like you've Had Enough!

Journey - A FRACTURED Heart
Psalm 109:21-22 NLT Rescue me because You are so faithful and good... and my heart is full of pain.
There are different kinds of breaks that can happen to the bone. The slightest break can be a hairline fracture. Hard to detect but can be very painful. A compound fracture is an extreme case of fracture. Brokenness of heart can be the same. Hairline fractured by a cutting word or unholy glance to a compound fracture of betrayal or attempt to destroy. Whatever level of fracture, God can heal your fractured heart. If you have a fractured "heart full of pain" God is "so faithful and good" to heal it up. Sometimes it may take only a word but at times it may mean resetting it with extended care. You may have a fractured heart today. There is no fracture that's too small that God don't care about and none too great that God's not able to care for, so let Him rescue and heal that fractured heart.

Journey - BEAT DOWN
2Cor. 4:8 NIV We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed...
It's hard to keep getting up, when you've been beaten down so many times. The hard presses of life can rob your strength to keep standing. Pressures of life seem like waves that knock you down, as so you get on your feet. Even the help of people around you can fall short, if they're being hit by the same waves. Some people do want to help, but they're just trying to get on their feet from life like you are. Beat downs can come from put downs. Someone who is constantly finding fault with you, or degrading you. Beat downs can come from people who just want to keep you down. They don't want you to pass them up in life. A beat down can come from yourself. You beat yourself down over a fault or failure. Paul knew what we'd all deal with, because the Spirit of GOD had revealed it to him. He let's us know, that no matter how beat down we get, it's never strong enough to crush us! The pressing of life, man, or even satan, can't overpower the Spirit of GOD's Presence and Power in you! You may feel the pressure, but you can't be crushed! You're gonna make it, because GOD empowers you to take it!

Journey - What Does GOD Say?
Is. 40:8 NLT The grass withers and the flowers fade, but the word of our God stands forever.
There a great deal of thoughts, opinions, ideologies, theological debates, and the typical personal opinions. Scripture has never been more slanted and twisted. The Word has never been more scrutinized and watered down, to accommodate lives bent on living sinful lifestyles. Now, if a minister even attempts to lovingly and passionately preach certain truths from the Word, he's labeled phobic or a hater by those who are living that particular lifestyle. If you ever wonder where GOD stands on any issue of life, government, marriage, family, or lifestyle, you need not look any further than the Word of GOD itself! People may try to point out certain errors in the text. People may try to speculate certain context concerning a particular incident or time frame. However, a grammatical placement, time, or context of incident doesn't change the truths outlined in the Word! Isaiah had clearly heard from the Lord! "The grass withers and the flowers fade, but GOD's Word stands forever.” Let's put it another way, "Man dies, opinions, philosophies, and trends fade, but GOD's Word will never fade or change in meaning or context!" Saint, do not bend it, shape it, or try to rearrange it to fit a time, trend, life, or lifestyle! Live it as it says! The Word of GOD preaches itself! It matters not what man thinks or says! Look in the Word if you really want to know what GOD says!

Journey - WRITTEN OFF
Luke 15:4 NLT ...Won’t He leave the ninety-nine others in the wilderness and go to search for the one that is lost until he finds it?
It's hard to not write some people off, when you feel they're not responding to the call of the Savior. What if someone would've written you off? What if they would've written you off when you had wandered out into the world? The love of the Savior will never just let someone go. He has to go find and restore them. Our love should be no less, if we have His love within us. It's so sad when you speak to someone who feels written off by others. It's hard to convince them that the Savior hasn't written them off. Saint, never write anyone off from coming to know the Savior! Never write anyone off who has wandered away from fellowship with the Savior! We must always believe that they'll be back in right relationship with the Father! The worst place in life is being lost in the worldly wilderness of sin. Pray, believe, and do what you can to see them come home; but never write them off. You weren't written off, don't write them off.
