Eighth Street Baptist Church would like to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who came out and helped make our 14th Pastoral Anniversary Musical Celebration a tremendous blessing!

We are grateful for every guest, family member, friend, ministry partner, church member, and supporter who joined us as we celebrated Pastor Steven L. Smith, Sr. & Deacon Lady DeShea Smith and 14 years of pastoral leadership and faithful service.

A special thank you to Friends of Faith Ministry for partnering with us to make this celebration possible, and to Spirits of Joy and Denise & The Traveling Aires for blessing us through the powerful ministry of music! 🎶🙌🏾

We also thank everyone who served on the program, worked behind the scenes, gave, prayed, encouraged, and helped make this occasion one to remember. Your love and support did not go unnoticed!

As we continue our journey as Kingdom Builders: The Year of Expansion, we give God all the glory for what He has already done and stand with great expectation for what is still to come!

🌅 MOTIVATION MONDAY 🌅

"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go." — Joshua 1:9 (NKJV)

God didn't suggest it. He didn't whisper it. He COMMANDED it!

Be strong!
Be courageous!
Do not be afraid!
Do not be dismayed!

Why? Because the same God who parted the Red Sea, who shut the mouths of lions, who rolled away the stone; that SAME God is with you today! Right now! In this moment! On this Monday!!! 🔥

You may not feel strong this morning. That's okay. Strength is not always a feeling; sometimes it's a CHOICE! A choice to get up anyway. To trust anyway. To believe anyway. To keep going when everything in you wants to stop.

God is not asking you to figure it out. He is not asking you to have all the answers. He is simply saying, "I am WITH you!" And if God is with you, what in this world could stand against you? 👑

Walk into this week like you know Who is beside you. Because you do!🙌🏾
