The Mission of the Lynchburg Baptist Association is to advance God’s Kingdom by combining our resources to accomplish cooperative missions and strengthen member churches. The LBA organized on November 1, 1964 when eighteen churches and one mission, represented by 164 messengers, met at College Hill Baptist Church. Currently, the LBA consists of eighteen Southern Baptist Churches located in the cit
y of Lynchburg, and in the counties of Campbell, Bedford, and Amherst. Associational staff:
