IT’S DAY 4—THE GRAND FINALE!

We have had an incredible week learning how to "Live It Out," and tonight we are crossing the finish line with our final VBS session and our big Family Bash.

A quick reminder for our VBS families: tonight is a full family experience. We ask all parents to check their kids in like normal, but remain with them throughout the closing session, the missions project, and the bash.

During our closing session, we will also be revealing next year’s VBS dates and theme. Afterward, families are free to roam the bash and enjoy Kona Ice, two big water slides, a foam pit with a DJ, and spray tattoos.

Because of the water and foam, we highly recommend kids wear swimsuits or clothes that can get wet, and bring a towel.

VBS families, get ready to finish the week strong!

Our hearts are so full after the first two nights of watching these kids have the best time singing, playing, and learning what it truly means to Live It Out. From high-energy worship to deep conversations in small groups, God is moving in a big way!

We are halfway through, and Night 3 is HAPPENING TONIGHT! The excitement is only building as we’ve got even more fun, games, and big truths waiting for them.

Compassion actively partners with over 10 local nonprofits to ensure no one in Lynchburg has to walk through hardship alone. By working together with experts in foster care, housing, and healthcare, we are able to provide a wider net of support for those who need it most.

The Virginia District is heading to Kenya!

We are excited to announce an upcoming Work and Witness Trip to Africa Nazarene University (ANU). This is a unique opportunity to serve the community in Kenya through both physical labor and spiritual outreach.

Our team will be tackling several vital campus projects—including work on the library, construction, plumbing, and electrical systems—alongside outreach initiatives with local churches, such as VBS and university student ministry.

Trip Details:
- October 12th – 24th (Dates may vary by a few days).
- Estimated Budget: $2,500 – $3,500. This range depends on whether you choose to participate in the Safari experience or return early.
