Today, I praise God in song. I'm so thankful for the gift of music. What a wonderful way to express our love for God and all He's done. The right lyrics that proclaim, and exclaim, the wonderous works of our Savior can change our countenance. God, thank you for the gift of music.

Today, I give God praise for health. Not just health, but GOOD HEALTH. For years I made the excuse that parenting, homeschooling, working full time, ministry work, etc. took time away from exercise. But I praise God that now I have a balanced focused on my health. My entire well being (physical, mental, etc.) is better off because I'm carving out time to be healthy. Not even a few years ago could I have imagined waking up while it's still dark to go to the gym, or hit the trails, or lift weights. With that has come a dedication that only the Lord can give. Friends, though this body is temporary, it is not to be neglected. I don't want to present to the Lord a sound mind only. But I want to bring to Him my whole self, my BEST self, and this includes walking in complete wholeness and health.

Today I give God praise for promises yet to be fulfilled. I believe God for every promise He's made. As I wait for the manifestation of all His promises, I can rest peacefully. God is not a man that He should lie. He's a promise keeper. What He says He will do. His word will not return void. So today, I praise Him as if every promise He's made has already been fulfilled. He's good for it.

On Sunday, we were encouraged to find one thing every day that we could praise God for as we embark upon the 30 days leading up to Thanksgiving. No matter our circumstances, we can always, and I do mean ALWAYS, find something for which to praise God.

So, on today, Day 1, I praise God for salvation. From the depths of my soul I am thankful that the creator of the universe died for me. When I was unfit, He was gracious unto me. For this, I will always praise my Lord, my savior, my redeemer. What are you praising God for?

Inspiration hits. Decisions made. Plans are completed. No detail left uncovered. You’ve figured it all out and are excited about reaching your goals and dreams. Then suddenly you find yourself in a place where what you thought would be your reality, is an impossibility. You face two possibilities. One is to believe for a miracle. It can happen. In my life I’ve seen and experienced what can only be described as a miracle. The other possibility is to regroup.

Regroup? This might seem like hinderance to progress. But it can be just as promising and yield just as much growth. Even when your God-breathed, God-inspired plans don’t pan out, it’s okay to regroup. It’s okay to step back, get a new focus. The key is to keep moving forward. It’s not a failure. And for most people on the way to some journey or destiny, it’s a normal part of the process. Having to change your focus is not the end of your journey, it’s a station. It allows you time to stop, refresh, and even rest if need me.

Whether you wait for the miraculous, or take a step back, both possibilities require you to trust God. And both possibilities yield growth. So even if you find yourself needing to regroup. Know it’s okay. You are not counted out and you’re exactly where you should be.

"You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart." Jeremiah 29:13. Lord, let nothing keep us from seeking you, EARNESTLY! Friends, let's dig in the Word of God, let's seek Him through prayer, and then wait with expectancy for His response.
