Dear Friends,
This past year plus in Downtown Lynchburg has been nothing short of amazing. God has been so gracious to us, blessing His people with His glorious presence, and meeting us in this church building every moment the doors opened and we were present.
We learned about the Fatherhood of God... and are still learning.
We learned about the divine Sonship of Jesus... and are still learning.
We learned about the fellowship and lordship of Holy Spirit... and are still learning.
We learned about who we are, in Him, and are still growing in that revelation. We're growing in His love, grace, and righteousness, and are blown away by the incomparable way that He interacts with His children.
We're grateful for the religious bondages that have been broken, and the great freedom that has come to so many - captives have been set free by the mighty power of the Holy Spirit, in the matchless name of the Lord Jesus, and the never-ending love of the Father.
We shared great times together as brothers and sisters: praying together, worshipping together, eating, laughing, crying, bonding, and uniting together. We are His ekklesia, and always will be.
However, we will be moving out of this building at the end of 2024 and the extraordinary chapter of ministry known as Remnant Rising Church will be coming to an end. We want to thank all of you who supported, sowed, prayed, loved us, and those who just wanted to meet with Him while we were here. It is bittersweet to leave this chapter behind, but we are in a great place of peace with this decision. We are looking ahead to what He has in store for us in 2025 and beyond, and we will cherish every memory that was made here, and the wonderful opportunity to serve, love, and the privilege to call all those we've met friends!
