Lord, we join the angels in their song of worship over the birth of Jesus: Glory to God in the highest.

The heavens declared Your glory that night in Bethlehem, and we continue to lift our voices in praise for what You've done.

Teach us to worship You with the same abandon as the shepherds, dropping everything to come and see the Savior, bowing before the King.

You are worthy of all glory, all honor, all praise, and Christmas reminds us that the God who deserves our highest worship came to us in the lowest place.

Help us lift our voices in gratitude today, to join creation in celebrating the birth of the One who would redeem the world.

Remind us that glory to God in the highest isn't just a line from a carol but the posture of our hearts, giving You the honor You deserve.

Give us hearts that overflow with worship, not just today but every day, because the child born in Bethlehem is worthy of endless praise.

Let our lives echo the angels' song, glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, goodwill toward men, as we celebrate Jesus, Emmanuel.

FREE LUNCH THIS FRIDAY!!! Come and join us for a community lunch at the CMBC building across from the library in Cumberland. Soup and sandwiches will be served from 11;30-1:00 this Friday, October 25th. The Harvest Baptist Association along with Heritage Ministries are sponsoring the lunch.
