We recently received Clint Rambo as a baptized member of the Lydia Methodist Church! Dawn Babineaux Rambo is a long-time member. We are happy to have both of them worship with us.

The word "Pentecost" means "fifty". Fifty days after the resurrection of Jesus, the promised Holy Spirit was poured out on the followers of Jesus. The Christian Church was born!!!! Join us Sunday morning at 10:00 AM for this important celebration!

Our guest speaker today was Glenn Rountree from the Methodist Children's Homes! We heard stories about the work of the Homes, presented in a scriptural context. Thanks to the generosity of members and friends, we were able to send a check to the Children's Homes for $1,500! We are always happy to support the important work being done by the Louisiana Methodist Children's Homes.
