This years Advent by Candlelight was an embarkment on emotion. The emotions of the advent wreath and the feelings the candles represent. Peace, hope, love, and joy.

Let each week that passes in Advent, be a reminder to reflect on how we’re using that emotion in our lives to create a connection to Christ, one brought about by experiencing true happiness.

Too quickly we’re disconnected from the feelings that draw us closer to Christ because we’re too busy and too distracted. Let’s stop and slow down... let’s be present to the moment and grateful.... let’s be in touch with what we’re feeling, and thankful to God for what we have been blessed to have in our lives.
