We enjoyed a great time bowling today! The adult Sunday School class walked away with the trophy for the highest overall score, but everyone had a great time!

The Chapel Hill WMU ladies studied about London, England. We had a high tea party with finger sandwiches, mini quiche, fruit kebabs, & strawberry short cakes with heavy cream. We drank hot tea out of fine china cups—and yes, our pinky fingers were extended. Our special speaker was Sydney Laird. She told us about how she has personally seen God work in her life as a nurse. We appreciate the work that all our nurses accomplish everyday.

Chapel Hill Baptist Church celebrated and honored our 🎓2026 graduates.🎓 They were given study Bibles and treated to a dinner in the fellowship hall. We love our church family and are praying for a meaningful future for these young adults ✝️

Tomorrow, Wednesday, May 13th at 6:30pm, we will be recognizing our college, senior high, and 6th grade graduates. Please bring finger foods, and come congratulate all our graduates for their accomplishments. We will meet in the sanctuary first, to present gifts and for a short devotional, and then join in the fellowship hall for a meal together. Hope to see you there!

Chapel Hill had 2 unusual guests last night: Mr. Claude & Mrs. Bertie Mae Busybody visited our church all the way from “Slapout”. They poked fun at our Senior Adults & some of the teenagers too. (We’re so glad our church members can see the humor in silly comedy). We also had a great meal & tried to answer some 1960’s trivia questions. Silliness aside—we love and appreciate our Senior adults. They are cornerstones to our ministry and a blessing to us all! ✝️

Yesterday, the WMU women of Chapel Hill Baptist Church celebrated NURSES DAY by providing over 325 homemade baked goods, snacks & bottled water for the staff at Crenshaw Baptist Hospital. Each treat had a Bible Verse attached to it. God bless our nurses! ✝️🩺👩‍⚕️
