C.E. Thomas, founder of the North Tampa Land Company, offered those purchasing 10 acres of land in the growing Lutz community a choice of either a FREE town lot or a burial plot at Lutz Cemetery.

From the very beginning, Lutz Cemetery was designed to serve the community and the families who helped build the area we know and love today. More than a century later, we continue to honor that legacy by providing a peaceful place of remembrance, reflection, and history.
