Brothers and Sisters,
On Saturday, May 30 at 10:00 AM through Sunday, May 31 at 10:00 AM, we will hold a 24-Hour Prayer Vigil as a congregation and faith family.
During this special time of continuous prayer, we will be lifting before God a heartfelt request on behalf of Robert Dumas, son of Steve & Caroline; brother of Stephanie — praying that God’s will, mercy, favor, justice, and providence would move powerfully as national leaders consider and decide Presidential pardons during America’s 250th Birthday observance.
This vigil is not about politics; It is about the power of prayer.
It is about believing that God still opens doors no man can shut.
It is about standing in the gap for a soul, a family, redemption, restoration, and hope.
Scripture reminds us: “The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.” — James 5:16
For 24 continuous hours, we are asking NTCOFC members, families, ministry leaders, youth, and prayer warriors to each commit to one or more 30-minute prayer slots so that every minute of the vigil is covered in prayer.
We will pray for:
Be God’s mercy and favor
Wisdom for national decision makers
Peace and strength for Robert and his family
Spiritual restoration and renewed purpose
God’s glory to be revealed through every outcome

Church family, throughout Scripture, some of God’s greatest movements began when His people united in prayer.
This vigil is an opportunity for our congregation to seek God together with humility, faith, and persistence. Let us cover these 24 hours with compassion, conviction, and confidence that God hears the prayers of His people.
“Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving.” — Colossians 4:2
May our prayers rise continuously before the throne of God.
In Christ's love, the elders,
Monte, Kris, David, Bob, Shack & Mike
