FALL WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY

Women are surrounded by voices telling us Christ alone is not enough, that we need something more in order to find wisdom, peace, purpose, and fulfillment. In Colossians, we learn the glorious truth: Christ is supreme, sufficient, and we are complete in Him. Through this study, we will learn to recognize false teaching and resist the temptation to add human wisdom, spiritual experiences, religious rules, or human effort to the gospel. We will also see how Christ changes our character, relationships, homes, work, and everyday choices. Colossians invites us to set our minds on things above and build our lives upon Christ, who is all and in all.

Hello BBC Ladies,

Registration for our 2026 Women of the Word retreat is open!!

Our WoW retreat will take place September 11-13, Park Retreat and Conference Center in Falling Waters, WV.

In-person registration will be available on Sunday near the children’s sign-up desk. Please feel free to invite family members and friends. We look forward to a wonderful time of being relaxed, refreshed, and renewed in God’s Word.

For those who have volunteered to help in preparation of our Women of the Word 2026 Retreat:

Join us for our first 2026 WoW Retreat Volunteer meeting

Sunday, 7/19/26 @4:15pm in the Youth Room.
It will be a brief time where we will discuss all retreat logistics; expectations, responsibilities, getting to know your team leaders and team support, Q&A, etc. Please make an effort to attend so that we can make sure we are serving in excellence to make this year’s Women’s Retreat memorable and God-glorifying.

For those who have not volunteered but may be interested in helping, please join us and perhaps find a place to serve and use the gifts the Lord has given you to bless our ladies and our church. Thank you all and we look forward to seeing you there.

A little of our Seasoned Saints Party from yesterday! Just a reminder that the Seasoned Saints Bible Study will be returning in the fall.

Date & Time: Thursdays, 10-11:30am (Please be as prompt as possible since it is only a 1.5 hr time frame, that might mean aiming to get there a bit before 10 if you have little ones who need time to transition)
Length: 8 weeks, June 4-July 30 (except for VBS week)
Location: Study- Reformation Room, Childcare- Gym (ages 4-9) and Nursery (ages 0-3)
Food: There will be a small snack provided each week for the kids in childcare. There will be NO snacks provided for adults... however if you ever want to bring something to share feel free. Try and remember to bring your own water bottle and water bottles for your kids as well. Since the study ends close to lunch time and some of you with kids might have a long drive or just want to be able to get kiddos down for a nap as soon as you get home you are welcome to pack lunches for your kids and eat them out at the pavilion or in the field.

✨ A sweet ending to a wonderful year together ✨

Last Saturday, we gathered for our final Women’s Ministry Brunch of the year as we concluded our study on the Fruit of the Spirit by looking at self-control.

We are so thankful for the sweet fellowship, meaningful conversations, and faithful women who joined us throughout the year. It has been a joy to grow together in God’s Word.

We’re already looking forward to what the Lord has in store for the coming year. 🤍🌿

WoW exists to disciple women by strengthening, encouraging and helping women to mature spiritually and to foster meaningful relationships that are Christ-centered.

We provide opportunities for mentorship, service, and outreach in order to assist women in fulfilling their God-given roles in their homes, the church, and their communities, for the glory of God.
