In the coming weeks we have Episcopal 101 coming up, and on September 13th and 20th, at our 10 am service, we have Instructional Eucharist.

So, if you ever wondered how and why we do the things we do, this is your time to learn all the things that you didn’t even know, you didn’t know.

Why does the Altar change colors? How do the readings get selected? What does the crucifer do? What is the difference is the different Rites? What are the sacraments we hold in high esteem?

Whether you belong to our parish, are just curious, belong to a different Episcopal parish… we want to know what you want to know.

Rectors, supply clergy, deacons and vergers have all gone through the training as to why, and they will gladly tell you.

But episcopal rule one: All of the above people will promptly forget that conversation if it’s within 15 minutes of the service start time. Put it in writing or wait until after the service 😉

This morning we welcomed Voices in Praise and held our back to school blessings.

A great morning of music, praise, and faith, as many of our parishioners get ready for the next season in education.

The Jousting Tournament is almost here! Happy to support our neighbors up the road for food, fellowship and fun!

SAVE THE DATE!! August 29th we will be hosting the 159th annual jousting tournament. You are all invited to our favorite event of the year! The Bazaar and tours of the historic Christ Church begin at 10 am. Jousting starts at 12. Concerts in the church will begin at 1 pm, and the country supper is at 2pm (tickets required). We will truly have something for everyone! Keep your eye on this page for more details over the next couple weeks.

Join us this Sunday at 10am in the Parish Hall as we welcome Voices in Praise https://www.voicesinpraise.org AND we bless all students, teachers and staff as they go back to school!

Reminder that the Parish Picnic will be Sunday, September 6.

All are welcome! Hope to see you there!

Registration is now open for the 2026-2027 VIP season. Rehearsals kick off on August 31st, 6:15pm - 8:00pm. Anyone in Grades 6 - 12 is welcome.
