The Administrative Board met this afternoon. We took into consideration the votes of the congregation, but made the difficult decision to discontinue the Fish Fry.

The administrative board is currently in deep thought about the future of the Fish Fry. We have had the Fish Fry for 84 years. Many people in the church and community make this event happen, but unfortunately our congregation and community are aging and moving at a rate faster than replacements come on board to help with the Fish Fry. This Sunday, we plan to visit with the congregation and ask for them to do a casual “vote” on paper…yes or no for the Fish Fry to continue and if a yes vote, then are you willing to help. The board will then take into consideration the votes in making their final decision. We know this will be an emotional decision for some & we want you to have a little time to process before Sunday. We planned to talk to the congregation last Sunday, but Mother Nature had other plans. Please know whatever decision is made, it will be one that has been thought and prayed over by the board.
