WOMEN'S GUILD NEWS

At its February meeting, the St. Boniface Women’s Guild celebrated with a Mardi Gras theme. Those in attendance enjoyed refreshments, learned about the origins of Mardi Gras/Fat Tuesday traditions and enjoyed an authentic King’s cake. The cake is decorated in purple, green and gold colors symbolizing faith, prosperity and justice, and contains a small baby figure hidden within the cake. Mary Bourque found the “baby” in her slice of cake and was crowned “queen” of the festivities and will enjoy good luck in the coming year

St. Boniface Parish Announces Lenten Speaker Series: “United in Peace: Strong in Faith”
LUNENBURG, MA —
St. Boniface Parish is pleased to invite the local community to its upcoming Lenten Speaker Series, themed "United in Peace: Strong in Faith." This season, the parish will host a diverse group of voices to offer unique perspectives on finding peace and strengthening one’s spiritual journey. These speakers will be at ALL masses each weekend 4PM on Saturday and then 8 & 10AM on Sunday. The highlight of each week will be the 10:00 AM Family Mass every Sunday during Lent. These special liturgies will be led by the children of the Religious Education Program, fostering a family-centered environment for worship and reflection.

Featured Speakers Include:
Fr. Charles Omolo: Administrator of St. Boniface Parish.
Deacon Court Shields: Permanent Deacon from the Diocese of Worcester.
Fr. Jean Pierre Aubin: Representing the Archdiocese of Boston & Food for the Poor
Nana Brempong: Community youth leader and educator.
Kevin Bigelow: Educator and community leader.

“We have a wonderful mix of speakers this year,” the parish stated. “Our goal is to provide parishioners and visitors with a variety of perspectives on our theme of peace and faith. We encourage everyone to make every effort to attend these Sunday masses throughout Lent.”
All are welcome to join the St. Boniface family for this transformative series of prayer and community.
