Join us for Generations of Faith: Overflow — Filled to Overfilling on Saturday, September 12th, from 10 AM–12 PM at First Baptist Church Clarkton.

Together, we’ll slow down, surrender what’s weighing us down, prepare our hearts for revival, and encourage one another as we look forward to the upcoming women’s retreat. 💕 We’ll also be creating our own personal journals to use throughout revival and the Caswell Women’s Retreat.

Come with an open heart and expectant faith as we seek the Lord together. Let’s prepare to be filled so that we can overflow into the lives of those around us. 🤍

Worship Service

Church hurt can leave wounds
that reach far beyond a building.

When people who represent God fail us,
it can become difficult
to separate their actions
from His character.

Yet God is not defined
by the brokenness of people.

He remains faithful,
even when His people are not.

Healing may take time,
and rebuilding trust may be slow.

But our hope can rest in Christ,
whose love never changes
and whose presence never abandons us.

In September, we will be learning about Jacksonville, Florida, and corporate chaplain Lydia Greear.

From Sunbeams (now Mission Friends) and Girls in Action to international missions and now corporate chaplaincy, Lydia can look back and see how God has woven each experience together to prepare her for her current ministry.

Today Lydia’s job as a corporate chaplain with Marketplace Ministries out of Jacksonville, Florida, means she serves employees across northern Florida, building relationships, caring for people in difficult seasons, and looking for opportunities to share the hope of Jesus.

🙏 Pray for open hearts to receive the gospel as Lydia shares Christ with the people God places in her path. Pray also for Lydia’s adult children, Thaddeus, Jeremiah, and Starr, as they continue to navigate the effects of growing up in a missionary family and transitioning back to life in the United States. Pray that God would give them peace and strength.

What a wonderful Youth Sunday. Our Youth took charge of the service and displayed their talents and love for the Lord. Our youngest youth played the handbells to open the service and Greylan welcomed everyone. All the Youth sang and did the motions for several songs. Jamie and April did sign language to “I Call Him Jesus” while the choir sang and Oliver and Graylen held signs for emphasis. April did a great job with the Kid’s Connection and all the Youth shared the many activities they took part in over the year. Hayden played several hymns, beautifully, and Halle led the singing. The RA’s gave a report and Oliver recited all of the books of the Bible. April, Aleigha, Kimberly, and Caleb shared from their hearts about what serving Jesus is really about. Paislee did an awesome job in the sound booth. Ms. Heather did a fantastic job on the shirts and, as always, Ms. Meredith made sure the program was carried out seamlessly. May we ALL be “Unashamed” to share the Gospel with the world. 🎶
