We had such a great turnout yesterday! We are so thankful for everyone that showed up to support our youth! Thank you so much!

The donation dinner fish plates were a huge success! God has blessed us beyond what we deserve.

Caney Baptist Church appreciates you & if you do not have a home church, we would sure love to have you!

Come help support Caney Youth by donating and getting a fish plate after 5:30pm today! (Fish, fries, hush puppies, cole slaw, tea and dessert) We will be here until we run out!

UPDATE: Fish plates are available starting at 5:30, and we are offering DINE-IN and TAKE-OUT for donation only. One of our men will be sharing a devotion at 5:30. Come on out and have supper with us, share the fellowship, and hear the Word! See you this evening!

Good morning. In addition to this tournament, we will be offering take-out fish plates starting at 5:30 on Saturday, April 11, and continuing until we are out of fish. These plates are offered for donation to our youth fund to help with youth camp and summer activities. Come on out to the church — 13 Luther Saucier Road, Lumberton, at intersection of Caney Church Road — and pick up some delicious fried fish for your supper! All donations appreciated!

With great sadness, we announce the passing of Mrs. Jolene Lowe Chambliss who departed this life on Thursday morning, Feb.5. But with great joy, we celebrate her life, her testimony, her decision to accept Christ as her Lord and Savior, and her lifelong dedication to Christian service through Caney Baptist Church.

In recent years, Ms. Jo was unable to attend services due to health issues, but if you are one of the many who affectionately knew her as “Mama Jo” and saw firsthand the beauty of her love for her family, her church, and her community, then you are one of the truly blessed. She had a great big heart and a great big love for Jesus. What a blessing to know that the rewards of her Christian service here are becoming a reality for her now as she joins other family and friends in eternity to do what she loved to do best — praise Jesus! She loved singing and playing the piano, and now she has a perfect voice to continue her praise! Ms. Jo’s contributions to Caney Baptist Church will not be soon forgotten.

The family will welcome friends at the visitation to be held at Caney Baptist Church on Monday night, Feb. 9 from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Caney Baptist Church on Tuesday morning, Feb. 10, at 11:00 a.m. Your prayers for Ms. Jo’s family are appreciated.
