Happy Mother’s Day from Baxterville Church of God. 💐❤️

Today we celebrate and honor all mothers, grandmothers, bonus mothers, and mother figures who continue to love, pray, guide, and sacrifice for their families every single day. Your strength, kindness, and faith do not go unnoticed, and we thank God for each and every one of you.

A mother’s love is one of God’s greatest gifts. Through every prayer, every tear, every lesson, and every act of love, you reflect the beauty of God’s grace and compassion.

“Her children arise up, and call her blessed.” — Proverbs 31:28 ✨

We pray God continues to bless all mothers with peace, joy, strength, and endless love. Thank you for all that you do for your homes, your families, and the Kingdom of God.

Happy Mother’s Day from your church family at Baxterville Church of God. 🌷🙏

🔥 A Holy Ghost Resurrection Celebration — You Are Invited! 🔥
Baxterville Church of God
" He is not here; for He is risen, as He said." - Matthew 28:6
This Resurrection Sunday, we are believing for a mighty move of God like never before. The same power that rolled the stone away, the same power that raised Jesus from the dead, the same power that filled the upper room that Holy Ghost power is still alive, still moving, and still changing lives today.
And we want YOU to be part of it.

🌅 Sunday School: 10:00 AM
✝️ Resurrection Service: 11:00 AM

This is more than a service — it’s a Holy Ghost encounter.
A moment for families to be restored.
A moment for hearts to be healed.
A moment for the lost to be found.
A moment for the weary to be renewed.
A moment for the fire of God to fall again.

We are praying that every person who walks through our doors will feel the presence of the risen Savior — the One who conquered death, hell, and the grave. We believe the Holy Spirit is going to move in a powerful way:

Chains will break

Hope will rise

Joy will return

Lives will be transformed

If you’ve been searching for peace…
If you’ve been longing for something real…
If you’ve been needing a touch from God…
If you’ve been away from church and want to come home…
This is your moment.
Bring your family. Bring your friends. Bring your neighbors.
Come expecting. Come hungry. Come ready for God to move.

Jesus is alive — and His Spirit is still being poured out.
We would be honored to worship with you this Resurrection Sunday at Baxterville Church of God.

Do You Know the Power of His Resurrection?-“That I may know Him, and the power of His resurrection…” — Philippians 3:10T...

Do You Know the Power of His Resurrection?
-“That I may know Him, and the power of His resurrection…” — Philippians 3:10

There is a difference between knowing about Jesus… and knowing Him.
There is a difference between hearing the story of the resurrection… and experiencing its power.

The resurrection is not just an event in history.
It is power that still shakes the earth today.
Power that breaks chains.
Power that lifts dead things.
Power that restores what life tried to bury.
Power that pulls you out of graves you were never meant to stay in.

When Paul said, “That I may know Him,” he wasn’t asking for more information—
he was asking for revelation.
He was asking for the kind of encounter that transforms a person from the inside out.
Because the power of His resurrection is not quiet.
It is not passive.
It is not gentle.
It is violent against darkness.
It is aggressive against bo***ge.
It is relentless against anything that tries to hold you down.
The same power that rolled the stone away…
is the same power that can roll depression off your mind.
The same power that raised Jesus from the dead…
is the same power that can raise your purpose, your joy, your calling, your family, your faith.
This is not symbolic power.
This is resurrection power—
the kind that steps into tombs and calls your name.
The kind that refuses to let death have the final word.
The kind that announces to every demon in hell:
“He lives—and because He lives, you will live also.”

Do you truly know the power of His resurrection?
Not just in your mind…
but in your spirit, in your walk, in your worship, in your everyday life.
Because once you know that power—
you never bow to the same things again.
You never fear the same battles again.
You never walk like a victim again.
You walk like someone who has seen the inside of an empty tomb.

Holy Week — The Night Before the Cross
“This is my body which is given for you.” — Luke 22:19

On this night, Jesus didn’t just break bread…
He broke the silence of eternity.
He revealed a love so deep that heaven itself bowed in awe.

At the table, before the nails, before the crown of thorns, before the darkness covered the earth—
Jesus made a decision that would shake every kingdom, visible and invisible.

He gave His body.
Not taken.
Not forced.
Given.

Given for the broken.
Given for the guilty.
Given for the weary.
Given for the ones who feel unworthy.
Given for the world that didn’t even know it needed saving.

In that upper room, the Holy Ghost hovered over the table like He hovered over the waters in Genesis—
ready to birth a new creation through the blood of the Lamb.

This wasn’t just supper.
This was the unveiling of redemption.
This was the moment the eternal plan stepped into time.
This was the night love put on flesh and said,
“I will be broken so you can be made whole.”

Let us remember today:
The cross began at the table.
The sacrifice began with surrender.
And the Holy Ghost is still revealing the depth of that love to every heart willing to receive it.

✨ **He Is Risen!** ✨

“Up from the grave He arose,
He arose, hallelujah, Christ arose!”

Today we celebrate the victory that changed everything—Jesus Christ has risen from the dead! The grave could not hold Him, and death has lost its sting.

📖 *“He is not here: for He is risen, as He said.”* — Matthew 28:6
📖 *“O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?”* — 1 Corinthians 15:55

**Meaning for us today:**
Because He arose, we have hope beyond our struggles, forgiveness beyond our failures, and life beyond the grave. The resurrection is not just an event—it is a promise. A promise that no matter how dark things seem, God’s power brings new life, restoration, and victory.

Let us rejoice and walk in that resurrection power today! 🙌

✨ What “Up From the Grave He Arose” Means ✨
When we say “Up from the grave Jesus arose,” we are celebrating the greatest victory in history — the resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. After being crucified and buried, Jesus did not remain in the tomb. On the third day, He rose with all power, proving that death, sin, and the grave could not hold Him.
This truth reminds us that:
Jesus is alive
He has conquered death
We have hope and eternal life through Him
📖 Scripture Reminder
Matthew 28:6 — “He is not here; for He is risen, as He said.”
Because Jesus rose, we can rise above every trial, every burden, and every attack of the enemy. His resurrection is our victory.
Let this message strengthen your faith today. Jesus lives, and His power is still working in us.

✨ Thursday Motivation — God Is Carrying You Through
As you move through this Thursday, remember this: God never brings you this far just to leave you.
Even on the days when strength feels low and the week feels long, His grace is still holding you up.

Sometimes the biggest battles happen right before the breakthrough.
Sometimes the heaviest pressure comes right before God opens the door.
And sometimes the quietest seasons are the ones where God is doing His deepest work in you.

“Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and He shall sustain thee.” — Psalm 55:22

Whatever you’re carrying today stress, worry, decisions, or just the weight of life God is strong enough to lift it and loving enough to walk with you through it.

Take heart.
Take a breath.
Take it to God.
He’s got you.
