With sadness and heartfelt grief, on behalf of the loved ones of Walter Purdie, Pastor Charles Farmer Lady Carolyn Farmer and members of The Greater Laurel Hill Church Family that we acknowledge publicly the transition of Brother Walter Purdie on January 31,2024

*Services will be held on Monday February 04,2024 at 1pm at Laurel Hill Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Please keep the Purdie family in your prayers, as they process this lost . 🕊️

🗣Hoke County Sheriff's Office will be closed to the public on Thursday, August 31, 2023 as a result of the impending inclement weather. You may still go online and apply for conceal carry permits and complete other service requests at www.hokecountysheriff.org

The re-opening of the office is anticipated to be 8:00 am on Friday, September 1, 2023. Please monitor closely any and all updates regarding this storm.

Thank you to all who were able to take part today with our back to school Vacation Bible School. We give a huge thank you to Our pastor ;Pastor Farmer , the youth, the vbs teachers , the Principal and Assistant principal of Sandy Grove Elementary, the members of Laurel Hill and a HUGE thank you to our very own Reverend Mary Timmons for making this all possible ! Also we want to thank everyone who were able to provide monitory donations or even school supplies to make sure the youth started off the school year with something.
