Every other year the Bishop of our Diocese honors select members of our parishes with the Lumen Gentium Award. These are lay people who are chosen by their pastors for the inspirational way that they live the Christian life. There are many in our parish who deserve recognition, but this year Gloria Riojas was chosen as the recipient of the Lumen Gentium award. Her dedication is an example for us all. She received this award last Tuesday in Temple Texas along with many others from around the diocese. Congratulations Gloria!
