Have you sat at the feet of Jesus today? Through out my life and sense I was 10 or so, I felt as if the Lord was always inviting me to sit with Him and just be with Him—to know him intimately as Father, as friend, as counselor, and as Lord. I remember around 12 years old, our worship leader at the time had introduced me to a worship artist named Jason Upton and as I began to listen to his music, I could see that his heart and where he worshiped from was so different. He wasn’t just worshiping a God he read about, he was worshiping his father, his friend, and singing songs calling him dad. He had the understanding that Abba Father wasn’t just words in the Bible, Abba Father was real to him. He was sitting with the Lord, talking, worshiping, and honoring. It began to teach me something that I had never experienced—that sitting with the Lord was an invitation that we’re invited to every day. Intimately knowing him as Father, spending time with him, sitting at the foot of His throne, letting Him love on us and speak to us as we love on Him. It’s where He proclaims destiny and revelation over our hearts. When you begin to take time to sit with the Lord to know Him and hear Him, His voice becomes so loud and clear, and His heart and love for you begins to take on a different form. He’s not just the God of the Bible anymore. He’s the God of your heart. He’s the God of your life. He’s Abba Father.

In case you missed announcements at church yesterday, our pastors really believe the Lord is directing them to continue with daily community prayer. So to be obedient to the Lord, we’ll continue to meet at church weekdays at 6:30pm, Saturdays at 8:30am and Sundays at 9am! We invite you to join us when you can to continue to press in to all that the Lord has for us!

Men’s & Women’s Bible Studies will continue as always, rotating Thursday nights at 7pm—this week being Men’s Bible Study!

Join us TONIGHT at 6:30pm as we keep pressing in during our Pentecost Prayer nights!

We’re joining together in one accord tonight, Saturday morning and Sunday morning to call out to God for an outpouring of His Holy Spirit on Pentecost Sunday and to align our hearts with the will of the Father.
