Looking for fun, affordable, and meaningful activities this summer? Be sure to visit the St. Charles Parish Library this summer! The library offers wonderful programs and activities for children, teens, and adults — including reading programs, story times, crafts, games, educational events, and special community activities throughout the summer months.

A trip to the library is a great way for families to spend time together, encourage learning, and discover new interests while school is out.

“Let the wise hear and increase in learning.” — Proverbs 1:5

Take time this summer to read, learn, grow, and enjoy the many blessings found in your local community! 🌻

We are proud to recognize our high school and college graduates on Sunday, May 31, during our 11:00 a.m. worship service. We congratulate each of these graduates on their hard work and accomplishments and pray God’s blessings as they begin this next chapter in their lives. All graduates and their families are invited to the fellowship hall immediately following worship for a fellowship meal and a special cupcake treat prepared in honor of our grads.

As the first week of summer continues, look for ways to shine God’s love in your community.

Summer Tip: Encourage your children to help someone this weekend — make cards for nursing home residents, bring cookies to a neighbor, or help clean up around the house without being asked.

“Serve one another humbly in love.” — Galatians 5:13 🙏

A meaningful summer isn’t about doing more — it’s about loving more.

Midweek reminder: God’s strength is enough for every challenge you face today.
“But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.” — Isaiah 40:31
Take time today to encourage someone — send a text, make a phone call, or pray for a friend who may be struggling. Small acts of love can make a big difference.

Summer is a wonderful time to slow down and reconnect with family, friends, and neighbors.

Summer Tip: Set aside one “screen-free” hour today. Go visit a neighbor. Play a board game, read together, take a walk, or simply talk and laugh together.

“Let all that you do be done in love.” — 1 Corinthians 16:14 💙

Meaningful moments are often found in the simple things.

We are thankful for the wonderful time of fellowship, encouragement, and study shared throughout the year. The group will take a summer break and will resume meeting in September. We look forward to gathering together again in the fall for another season of spiritual growth and friendship.

Welcome to the first week of summer! A new season means new opportunities to grow, rest, and make meaningful memories together.

Summer Tip: Start the week by creating a family summer bucket list. Include simple joys like movie nights, Bible reading, visiting grandparents, helping neighbors, or enjoying God’s creation outdoors.

“This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.” — Psalm 118:24 🌻

A new week is a new opportunity to share God’s love with others. Start this Monday with a kind word, a helping hand, or a simple prayer for someone in need.
“Be kind and compassionate to one another.” — Ephesians 4:32
This week, look for one small way to serve someone quietly and lovingly. You never know how much encouragement your kindness may bring.

Today we celebrate Pentecost Sunday — the day the Holy Spirit filled the hearts of believers and empowered the Church to share God’s love with the world.
“Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” — Acts 2:21
As we worship today, may we be filled with the Spirit, renewed in faith, and inspired to serve others with joy, compassion, and courage.
