MORNING MANNA:

Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus...
Romans 8:1, NIV

"No Condemnation"

Sometimes we think we have to pay God back for our mistakes and sins, and we try to do it by staying down and discouraged to show Him that we're sorry, that we're remorseful. Granted, there should be conviction and genuine remorse when we do something wrong. I'm not saying to just do whatever you want and never feel badly about it. My point is that once you ask God for forgiveness, you don't have to pay Him back. The price has already been paid on the cross. But when you live feeling guilty, you're saying, in effect, the sacrifice Christ made wasn't enough. You're saying, "Let me add something to it. Let me do my part by paying some kind of penalty for the wrongs I've done." Living under guilt and condemnation doesn't bring any honor to God. After all Christ did to pay the price, if you want to honor God, get rid of the guilt. There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus--none.

Father, thank You that I am forgiven. Thank You that I am redeemed by the blood of Your Son. Thank You that the price for my sins has been paid once and for all. I receive Your love and forgiveness and refuse to live under guilt and condemnation. In Jesus' Name, Amen

MORNING MANNA : Have A Vision!

Where there is no vision, the people perish. Proverbs 29:18

Do you have a vision for your life, a God-sized dream and promises from God? It’s easy to have complaints about what didn’t work out or who hurt us. That wrong vision is going to limit your life. The Scripture says that if you’re lacking vision, you’ve reached your limits, you’re focused on what you can’t do and on how big the obstacles are. What would happen if you start writing a new vision? Write what God says about you. If you’re dealing with an illness, write the vision: “God says He is restoring health to me. I am healthy and whole. I am strong and energetic.” If you’re believing to pay your house off, write the vision: “God says I will lend and not borrow. What I touch prospers and succeeds. I am debt free. I am blessed so I can be a blessing.” Keep a new vision in front of you. That’s what you’re giving permission to come to pass. Who knows where God will take you if you will dare to write the vision.

“Father, thank You that I can begin to see myself the way You see me: as blessed, prosperous, healthy, strong, talented, and successful. Help me to get the negative images out and the fresh, new vision in. I believe that Your vision for me will become a reality. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

MORNING MANNA:

Remember how Job endured and how the Lord orchestrated the triumph of his final circumstances as a grand display of His mercy and compassion. James 5:11

"No Respecter of Persons"

The Scripture says we are to remember Job, how his faith endured through suffering, and how God’s compassion and mercy was displayed. Job honored God and was living a life of excellence when everything fell apart. He lost his children, his business, and his health. His wife told him to “just curse God and die,” and his friends told him all the loss was because he must have disobeyed God. He was nearly despondent, but just when it seemed like Job was going to settle there, he looked up to the heavens and said, “I know my Redeemer lives.” He was saying, “God, I don’t understand this, but I know You’re still on the throne. I trust You.” God not only brought Job through the difficulty, but he came out with twice the cattle and sheep, got his health and joy back, and lived to enjoy four generations of his children.

When you’re in a difficult time, remember Job. Disappointment and loss do not define your life. Be steadfast, be faithful, keep honoring God. You’re going to come out stronger, healthier, more fulfilled and blessed.

“Father, thank You that You are on the throne, and You are with me in times of loss and difficulty. Thank You that I can remember Job and how You brought him through the trial of his faith better off than he was before the loss happened. I believe that Your mercy and compassion are with me. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
