MORNING MANNA: Watch and See!

Then the LORD said to Moses, “Has my arm lost its power? Now you will see whether or not my word comes true!” Numbers 11:23

In Numbers 11, when the people of Israel complained about having no meat to eat in the wilderness, God was so fed up with them that He told Moses, “Tell the people I’m going to give them meat for a whole month.” Moses responded, “God, that’s not possible in this desert,” but God answered back, “Moses, when did I become weak?” He was saying, “Have you forgotten who I am, the all-powerful Creator of the universe? I gave Sarah a baby when she was ninety years old. I part Red Seas. I close the mouths of hungry lions.” Then God shifted the winds and brought in huge amounts of quail, enough for every person to gather fifty bushels.

God has untold blessings for you and the power to bring you what you need. You don’t have to go find it, make it happen on your own, force doors to open, or manipulate people. No, with one shift God can bring the provision to you. Just keep honoring God, walk humbly before Him, and He’ll make things happen that you couldn’t make happen.

“Father, Thank You that Your arm has never lost any of its power, and You control the winds and bring Your blessings to me. When it looks too big for me, I know that with You all things are possible. I believe that You are not limited by any unfavorable conditions that I face. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

MORNING MANNA: Programmed To Open

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.” Jeremiah 1:5

In our text,when God first told Jeremiah that he was going to be a prophet to speak to the nations, he felt inadequate, unqualified, not enough. He responded, “God, I can’t do that. I don’t know how to speak. I’m too young.” But God was saying, “Before you were formed in your mother’s womb, I gave you the gift you need to accomplish your ASSIGNMENT. That gene is already programmed to open at the right time.” Before you showed up on Planet Earth, God decided His purpose for you, what He destined for you to accomplish, the dreams for you to achieve, the obstacles you’d overcome, and the legacy you would leave. He programmed in your DNA everything you need to succeed, to rise higher, to leave your mark. He programmed you for greatness. He ordained you to break limitations, to set new standards, to go where no one in your family has gone. The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

When opportunities come that seem over your head, stay in faith and believe that the potential God put in you is about to open up. You’re about to see new confidence, new abilities, and new levels.

“Father, thank You that You handpicked me and set me apart for Your own purpose. Thank You for the gifts and abilities You have programmed in me to help me accomplish my assignment. I will stay in faith and be confident my potential will open at the right time. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

MORNING MANNA:

This is the day the LORD has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
Psalm 118:24, NKJV

"This Is The Day"

Throughout his life, David had all kinds of reasons to live negative and discouraged—armies attacking, King Saul trying to kill him, people betraying him, his own son even trying to take the kingdom from him. But when he could have been complaining, he made the decision in the midst of all that adversity: “These troubles and bad breaks are not going to take my joy and cause me to live sour. The Lord made this day for me to rejoice and be glad in it. I’m not waiting until things improve—not next week or next month. I’m rejoicing today.”

Anyone can be joyful when everything is going their way, when they’re getting good breaks. The test comes when people do you wrong, when life throws you a curve, when the medical report is not good. If you’re going to keep your joy, you can’t wait to see how you feel or if things are going your way. You have to be proactive and take your stand as David did and say, “My God made this day. Come what may, I will rejoice today.”

“Father, thank You that You have given me this day as a gift to live for You. Thank You that my happiness is not dependent upon anyone else or upon my circumstances. I will rejoice today, I will be glad today, and I will make the most of this day. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
