Hickory Flat is proud to host the L.B. Jones Family Reunion! The Jones family has always had a vital connection to this historic place.

For the Reunion’s program, Sarah Justus (Hickory Flat Lay Leader and L.B. Jones Reunion President) prayed the opening prayer and Rev. Bennett Clough (Hickory Flat Pastor) gave the morning devotion.

Join us this Sunday as we consecrate our new paraments! What are paraments? Good question…
They are, “The cloth hangings used on communion tables and pulpits. The colors of the paraments reflect the traditional colors of the seasons of the Christian year; they are changed as the seasons of the Christian year change.” They are meant to be a visual guide for worship that reminds us of how we should be reflecting on the church season we are in.

These paraments are donated by Rev. Bennett and Sara Clough. They are for the glory of God in honor of the whole Hickory Flat Congregation.

The congregation of Hickory Flat is extremely grateful for the work Harvest Baptist Church, along with a mission team associated with them, has done around our campus. Things are looking fresh and alive. Glory to God!

Hickory Flat-Mount Pleasant United Methodist Circuit

Join us this Sunday at 11am for Breakfast Church at Mount Pleasant UMC! We will share wonderful breakfast food, sing out of the Cokesbury Worship Hymnal, and worship together around tables in the old Fellowship Hall. There will be no 9am Service at Hickory Flat this Sunday.
