7,000+ Global Methodist congregations worldwide!

The Global Methodist Church (GMC), established in 2022 amid the United Methodist Church’s debate surrounding LGBT issues, has now exceeded 7,000 congregations worldwide only months after surpassing 6,000. Church leaders say the milestone reflects spiritual renewal and dedication to scriptural holiness.

The denomination expanded rapidly as thousands of congregations separated from the UMC over disagreements regarding same-sex marriage and clergy requirements, with the majority joining the GMC.
