As I sit in my quiet time this morning in preparation for my day, I am thankful for God's perfect plan for me.
If I look at my life today versus years past, I see that a lot of people have been removed.
Countless people that were once part of my every day life are nonexistent today.
And for this I am so thankful.
When God removes someone from our lives there is always a reason.

Some were toxic
Some were a bad influence
Some had bad intentions toward us
Some were so busy draining the life out of us that if God hadn't removed them we may have died under their influence!

We, as humans, always want to "win".
We may see their negative impact on us, but we are so caught up on trying to fix them that we are killing ourselves!
And when they are removed by the divine hand of God we see it as a LOSS!

Today I thank God for subtraction!
I thank God for His perfect plan!
I thank God for doing what I didn't have the power to!
If He hadn't stepped in when He did I may have been drained of all life!

We have to remember that He sees what we don't!
His ways are not our ways!
His ways are perfect!

Thank you Lord for loving me this much ❤️

Just a reminder this morning for all of you who have forgotten just how much POWER you have through your Heavenly artillery!

That means SOMEBODY needed it!

Take it ALL back!
Your power!
Your peace!
Your joy!
Your contentment!
Your relationship!
Your strength!
Take it ALL BACK!!!!

Tell the Devil he don't own your soul!
You're taking back what the enemy stole!!!

Got something in my spirit and must share.

People are so quick to blast those who have hurt you.
So quick to gossip.
So quick to try to recruit others to join us in our pity party.
Drag innocent bystanders into our pit.

Church hurt
Friend hurt
Hurt in general

God specifically has spoken directly to me about the power of silence when it comes to this.
Stay quiet until you have something nice to say.
Stay quite until you can open your mouth in obedience to the Lord!
Not the enemy.
Keep silent until you can speak without spitting venom.

And on the subject of Church hurt....
If you could be just as quick to tell about how they welcomed you when you felt outcast.
Talk about how they loved you when you were unlovable.
Talk about the grace they showed.
The love they showed.
Praying for you.
Crying with you.
And maybe talk a little about how when you had a need, they gave you that love offering to help you through.
If you can blast the bad, you can blast the good too.

And one last thing...
If you are truly grateful, living a life of gratitude and praise, you won't have time to entertain the enemy with your words or actions.
You will be too busy praising and thanking God for what you have.

In reference to responding to those who have done you wrong...
If you are ever confronted with the choice to extend grace or react in vengeance, ask yourself "what would Jesus do?"
Ephesians 4 32"And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you."

Romans 12 19"Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord."

One of the toughest, but most powerful lessons i have ever been taught.
Walking in peace and freedom only comes by YOUR obedience to the Lord.
It is not dependent on anyone else.
That is all.

Are you thirsty today?
Don't be ashamed to admit it.
We have all been thirsty and found ourselves drinking from the wrong fountain.
Here is your answer 💙🙏

John 7 37¶"In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.
38He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water."

Jesus!!!
He will always be the answer!
Every other source of water will always leave you thirsty!
I want LIVING WATER!
From a well that NEVER runs dry!

John 4 13¶"Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again:
14But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life."

What a way to start off a Friday!!

He sits with me

How many know this feeling?
Sitting, in a room all alone...
Going through a storm
A trial.
Maybe someone walked out on you
Deserted you
Abandoned you
Robbed you
Left you broken, bruised, battered and empty.
Maybe you were going through a great trial or test.
Something that had all of your emotions ties up.
A loved one, or yourself, going through a great storm.
And you are so enveloped by it.
It consumes your every emotion.
Robs you of all peace.
I'm sure we have all felt something similar, and know just how it feels.
As I look back on these times, I am reminded of one thing...
Psalm 34 18"The LORD is close to the brokenhearted;
he rescues those whose spirits are crushed."
I wanna take a minute and just thank Him....
For sitting with me
Just sitting with me!
He sits with me when I am sad
When I am crushed
When I feel like I am going to suffocate
And be overtaken by the storm surrounding me.
He sits with me and holds me.
As I cry
As I scream
As my heart feels like it is literally being ripped from my chest, He sits with me.
He sees my pain
My hurt
Rejected
Abandoned
Broken in a million pieces.
And it doesn't scare Him.
He doesn't shy away from it
He never says it's too much for Him
He sits with me.
In my darkest
In my lowest.
When I want to give up
Give in
Throw in the towel...
He sits with me.
And He holds me!
Loves me!
Listens to me!
And sometimes He speaks.
Sometimes...
He doesn't always have to speak
He doesn't always have to use words
Just His presence. That makes it all better.
I just want to thank Him.
He doesn't have to, but He does it anyway.
Oh how precious is My Jesus 🩵
Every moment, of every day.
He's the friend that sticks closer than a brother.
He is there when everyone else walks away.
When everyone else turns their back on you.
And is everything you need.
At the very time you need Him.
In every way!
Oh, this man named Jesus...
If you don't know Him today, please cry out to Him and LET HIM be the one who will NEVER leave you, nor forsake you.
And when the time comes, and you need Him to be there with you, He will be.
Thank you Jesus for loving me enough to sit with me 💞

knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin.

I remember dreading the sun rising every morning. For with it came yet another day of misery. Another day of trying to figure out how I was going to get my next fix, my next bag or another bottle to get me through the day. I was a slave to the sin I was living in. I feared change because all it brought was failure after failure. I was consumed with fear because everything I had tried failed. Regardless of my actions I truly wanted to change but I couldn't seem to get it right. I hurt everyone around me & I took. You see, I was a taker. I took everything you had to offer & when you were at your breaking point & couldn't possibly give anymore, I continued to take. I truly was a horrible individual. No respect. No remorse. No conscience. Nothing. I quit on everything & everyone. When it would get tough, I would just quit & walk away. I'm painting a portrait here of the man I once was. I never said it would be a masterpiece but moreso a visual nightmare of a wretched excuse of a man.

BUT THEN GOD STEPPED IN....
And my story was forever changed.

I never knew I could truly change until I realized the depth of the scripture above. My "old self" was crucified with Jesus on the cross of Calvary. He paid a debt that I owed. He took every horrible aspect of ME & put it to death when He was crucified. And just as He arose 3 days later from the grave, so did the newness of life, for me, arise from the depths.

The change that has taken place over the past 4 years has been nothing short of a miracle but that's what Jesus does.

He changes things.
He changes people.
He changes hearts.
He changes outcomes.
He changes attitudes.
He changes minds.
He changes everything.......if you let Him.

There is the key to it all....letting Him do the changing.

I say all that to say this:

Friend you will never truly reach the change you want in your life until you first surrender your life to Chrsit & 2nd, allow Him to become the change you so desperately long for.

If you're tired of starting over....

Stop giving up!!!!
