It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved leader, my sister and mentor, Mother Bernadette Brown, of Whole Women’s Ministries.

Mother Bernadette Brown was a faithful servant of God, a woman of strength, wisdom, and unwavering dedication to the work of the Lord. Her leadership, prayers, and genuine love for women will forever remain a guiding light within this ministry and in the hearts of all she touched.

We ask that you continue to lift her family, loved ones, and the Whole Women’s family in prayer during this time of loss. While we grieve, we take comfort in knowing that Mother Bernadette Brown has entered into eternal rest in the presence of the Lord.

“Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints.”
Psalm 116:15

BLACK HISTORY MONTH: DRAWING ON PAST EXPERIENCES
“Resemblance,” Nevaeh Williams, fifth grader from Brandon Elementary, said when asked why she drew a picture of Claudette Colvin, the American pioneer of the 1950’s civil rights movement.

“She was before Rosa Parks,” Nevaeh said. “She was 15 years old.”
