Fairview Baptist Church of Lufkin TX will be having the first of 5 Fund Raisers for our yearly Peru Mission Trip that is coming up July 12th - 18th. This Sunday, March 1st, following the Morning Worship Service, we will be serving a Chili Dinner. (By the way, this is East Texas so the noon meal is dinner) We will have chili with beans, without beans, and white chili. There is a "SUGGESTED" price of $10, or a maximum of $40 per family, but if you cannot afford that we will take what you are able to donate. We will start serving a 12 noon and serve until all the chili is gone so feel free to come on by following your church service. We are located on the corner of Fm 58 and Fm 2108. Our next fund raiser will be Friday & Saturday April 17th & 18th. We will have a garage sale. We are taking donations now for that if you have things you would like to donate. You can bring them up anytime or we can come pick them up. If no one is here either put your things on the front porch of the Fellowship Hall or on the carport by the Church Van. Then Sunday May 3rd following morning Worship, we will have a Spaghetti Dinner. Sunday June 7th, we will have a Hamburger Dinner following morning Worship. We will also have items set up for a Silent Auction that will run for a few weeks to give everyone a chance to bid on the items. Anyone is welcome, and encouraged, to make plans to go on this Mission Trip with us. Even if you are from another church, but love short term Mission Trips, you are free to come be a part of this week of sharing Christ with the people of Peru. Fairview Baptist Church of Lufkin TX will be having a Garage Sale Friday and Saturday, November 15th & 16th beginning at 7:00am to help raise Medical Funds for one of our young couples that has no medical insurance and is trying to get into UTMB Galveston as local doctors are able to properly diagnose her medical issues. These photos are just a sample of all that we have. Women's clothes are a dollar each, children's clothes 2 for a dollar, Christmas items a dollar each, glassware, kitchen items, furniture, you name it we've got it.
