'"I am a soldier but sometimes I need retraining" Sister Talitha Duirden-Jackson delivered a powerful message this morning, noting that as soldiers, we occasionally need retraining, and during life's challenges, we can rely on God, our Commander-in-Chief, to guide us through every situation we are faced with.

"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened." Matthew 7:7-8 NIV

The verse uses a progression of three actions to emphasize different aspects of faith and prayer: Ask (and it will be given): Represents the basic act of expressing your needs and desires to God. It requires humility and the acknowledgment that you rely on Him.Seek (and you will find): Represents a more active and intentional pursuit. It means going after God's wisdom, truth, and will rather than just asking for material things.Knock (and the door will be opened): Represents persistence, especially in the face of obstacles. It signifies a determination to continually seek entrance and relationship with God.

Where God guides.....He provides!!!

"Where God guides, He provides" is a deeply comforting principle emphasizing that when you follow God's calling, He supplies exactly what you need. It implies that every journey undertaken in faith has divine purpose and that God's grace will sustain you through it.

The phrase connects God's direction with purpose, provision, and peace across several areas:1. Biblical Roots.The popular saying is a paraphrase of Isaiah 58:11, which promises: "The Lord will guide you always; He will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame." Throughout scripture, God consistently provides resources and direction when His people step out in obedience (e.g., manna in the wilderness or a ram for Abraham).2. Finding Your "Why" (Meaning)When God guides, the meaning often reveals itself in the journey. This concept helps us find clarity at a glance:Purpose: Following His will gives your actions lasting significance, moving you past self-centered goals into a life of service and growth.

Trust over Comfort: It shifts the focus away from needing to know the entire roadmap, asking you to trust the Guide instead.Endurance: Knowing God is with you during difficult valleys or "sun-scorched lands" gives trials a purpose—building character and deepening your faith.3. Types of Provision -"Divine provision" is often different than what we expect. It doesn't always mean material wealth or comfort; it frequently manifests as:Spiritual Strength: Empowering grace to endure a difficult situation."Divine Alignment:" Connecting you with the right people, timing, and opportunities, in him.

Where God Guides....He Provides.... Amen!!!!

"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast."
Ephesians 2:8-9 NIV

This passage outlines three core truths about salvation:
1. By Grace (The Unearned Gift)
2. Through Faith (Our Trust in God)
3. Not by Works (No Room for Boasting)

Salvation cannot be earned through human effort or "good works". God designed salvation this way so that no one can brag, compare themselves to others, or claim they helped contribute to their own rescue.

What a blessed morning!!! Elder Clifford Duirden delivered an empowering message on Youth Day, highlighting God's incredible power and wisdom. With abundant blessings come greater responsibilities. Still, we're reminded that without God, we can do nothing, but with Him, miracles happen. Have unwavering faith in His presence and know He'll always make a way. To God be the glory for all His wonderful works. Continue to hold on to faith!!!

9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9 NIV

Romans 10:9 is a key Bible verse stating that salvation comes by confessing with your mouth that "Jesus is Lord" and believing in your heart that God raised him from the dead. It emphasizes that true faith involves both inward conviction and outward confession.

Surely God is my salvation;
I will trust and not be afraid.
The Lord, the Lord himself, is my strength and my defense;
he has become my salvation.
Isaiah 12:2 NIV

This bible verse highlights God as the source of security, replacing fear with confidence and strength.

A blessed and mighty time was had at The Upper Room on this Mother's Day. Elder delivered a timely, profound, and annoited message from God himself. Scripture Reading Acts-3:1 Topic: "Expecting to Receive Something!!!" When you are expecting to receive something from God you must believe that God is more than able to give you whatever it is that you have been expecting to receive from him. Expecting to receive something from God means having a confident, faith-filled anticipation that He will act on your behalf, provide for your needs, or fulfill His promises. It is an act of faith, positioning yourself to receive blessings, miracles, or guidance through trust in His character rather than through your own effort.

*We would like to thank all of the men that helped make this Mother's Day special by treating us like the queens that we are!!! May God's blessings be upon each and every one of you!!!
