Food For Thought For The Day:
According to the Bible, at what point is a sinner saved?

Romans 3:23 ESV “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,”
Romans 6:23 ESV “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

According to the New Testament, the point at which the repentant, believing sinner is described as entering Christ and receiving forgiveness is baptism into Christ.

The Bible gives a consistent sequence: a person hears the gospel and believes (Romans 10:17; John 8:24), repents (Luke 13:3; Acts 2:38), confesses Christ (Romans 10:9–10; Acts 8:36–37), and is then baptized into Christ.

Several passages identify what happens at baptism:
• Mark 16:16 — “Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved.”
• Acts 2:38 — “Repent and be baptized…for the forgiveness of your sins.”
• Acts 22:16 — “Rise and be baptized and wash away your sins, calling on his name.”
• Romans 6:3–4 — we are “baptized into Christ Jesus” and into His death, then raised to “walk in newness of life.”
• Galatians 3:27 — “For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ.”
• 1 Peter 3:21 — “Baptism…now saves you,” not as a physical washing, but through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

So, if the question is “At what point does the Bible show the sinner passing from being outside Christ to being in Christ?” the clearest biblical answer is:

When the believing, repentant sinner is baptized into Christ.

Food For Thought For The Day:
What happens at the Second Coming of Jesus?
1. Jesus descends
2. The dead in Christ arise first
3. The children of God still alive arise from the Earth
4. Both groups meet in the clouds in the air
5. Both groups meet Jesus in the air
6. Both groups will always be with Jesus

1 Thessalonians 4:15-18 ESV “For this we declare to you by a word from the Lord, that we who are alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will not precede those who have fallen asleep. 16 For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore encourage one another with these words.”

2 Thessalonians 1:7-8 ESV “and to grant relief to you who are afflicted as well as to us, when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with his mighty angels 8 in flaming fire, inflicting vengeance on those who do not know God and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus.”

There will not be any children of God left on the Earth.
No third coming of Jesus.
Jesus is not placing one foot on the Earth again.
No such thing called “Rapture” mention in the Word of God.
Those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord will be punished for eternity.

Can one see the importance of being “in Christ?”

The Bible tells us only one way to get “in Christ.”

Romans 6:3 ESV “Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?”

Galatians 3:27 ESV “For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ.”

Please read the Word of God for yourself and please keep it in context that it was written.

Food For Thought For The Day:
When driving a vehicle, most of us don't mind somebody helping us. We don't even mind somebody giving us directions. But handing over the wheel—that's different. Because the person holding the wheel decides where we're going, how we're getting there, when we're turning, and when we're stopping. It really don't matter if we have been there or not.
Same applies to our spiritual life. We don't mind help, directions, but letting Jesus take the wheel !!!!????? Not easy. We may think we know the way, we may believe we know the way, people may tell us the way, but until Jesus takes the wheel of our life and we do life His way. Our destination will not be Heaven. Jesus is the only one who has been in Heaven and knows the Way (John 14:6). Also, we don't allow Jesus to steer our life with Blind Faith, He is a close family member who is leading/ steering us home to the Heavenly Father. So let Jesus take the wheel of your life 24/7.

JUDGING

Key Scriptures: Matthew 7:1-5; John 7:24; 1 Corinthians 5:12-13; Galatians 6:1; James 4:11-12

What the passages establish: Scripture condemns hypocritical and self-righteous judging while requiring Christians to exercise righteous discernment, especially concerning conduct and teaching.

Quick study points:
• Remove hypocrisy before correcting another.
• Judge with righteous judgment rather than appearances.
• Congregations must exercise moral discernment.
• Correction should be gentle and restorative.
• God alone is the final Lawgiver and Judge.

Cross-reference direction: Read each passage in context before teaching or using it in a study.

- Where is the doctrine or practice taught in the New Testament?
- Does the teaching agree with the gospel preached by the apostles?
- Does its plan of salvation agree with the conversion accounts in Acts?
- Does its worship and organization follow the New Testament pattern?
- Is the authority being used Scripture, or an additional creed, tradition, council, prophet, or organization?

A Scripture-first set of questions for comparing any religious body or teaching with the New Testament pattern, without relying on labels, traditions, or personalities.

Who founded the church described in the New Testament — Christ or a later human founder?

Who is the head of the church — Christ alone or a human headquarters, council, convention, or office?

Does the group teach the one body, one Spirit, one hope, one Lord, one faith, one baptism, and one God of Ephesians 4:4-6?

Is its plan of salvation the same one preached in Acts?

Are its worship practices authorized by New Testament teaching and example?

Does its organization match qualified elders/overseers and deacons in local congregations?

Does it wear a name that honors Christ rather than a human founder, doctrine, practice, or movement?

Does it remain within the teaching of Christ, or does it add doctrines not found in Scripture?

If every creed, manual, catechism, and denominational rulebook disappeared, could the same church be rebuilt from the New Testament alone?
