The Salem Campmeeting has been meeting in Jackson County, Mississippi since the 1800s and has been at its present location since 1842. Salem Campmeeting occurs every fall during the first week of October.

Prayer: Grant safety and smooth travel to all the families journeying long distances to reach Salem this year.

Prayer: Holy Spirit, heal any fractured relationships and foster a deep Christian community among our cabin neighbors this year.

Scripture: Psalm 92:14 – "In old age they still produce fruit; they are green and full of sap."
Prayer: Lord, comfort and strengthen our elderly and other campground members who cannot attend in person, but who intercede faithfully from home.

Scripture: Colossians 3:23 – "Whatever your task, put yourselves into it, as done for the Lord and not for your masters."
Prayer: Bless the volunteers who are sweeping the aisles, dusting the wooden pews, and preparing the preacher tents to welcome our guest ministers. May the work of their hands as they clean and beautify this holy space bring glory and honor to You alone.

Prayer: Father, we pray for our first-time families and new cabin owners, that they find a deep sense of belonging at Salem.

Scripture: Deuteronomy 6:7 – "Recite them to your children and talk about them when you are at home and when you are away..."
Prayer: Lord, bless our multi-generational camp families as they pass the torch of faith down to their children and grandchildren.
