The Salem Campmeeting has been meeting in Jackson County, Mississippi since the 1800s and has been at its present location since 1842. Salem Campmeeting occurs every fall during the first week of October.

It’s with sadness today I announce the passing of a long time brother in our campground heritage. Pete Hearndon passed away on Wednesday, May 7.
Arrangements are for Sunday May 18 at Caswell Springs Methodist Church. Visitation will be from 2-3 p.m. with Service of Life to begin at 3.
