Our hearts are so full! 💚 A huge thank you to our neighbors at Rocky Creek Elementary for showing our church so much love and support during this difficult time. This banner filled with sweet messages from the students means more than you know.

We are incredibly blessed to be part of a community that shows up for one another. Thank you, Rocky Creek Elementary, for reminding us that even through the fire, we are surrounded by love, prayer, and support.

Just a reminder for tonight! 🙏

There will be no normal Wednesday night activities and no meal tonight. Instead, we will gather together in the sanctuary at 6:00 PM for a special time of prayer, praise, and worship.

Creek Kidz parents, there will be no drop-off at the Kidz Building tonight. Everyone will come straight to the sanctuary so we can worship together as a church family. Nursery will be provided for children ages 0–4.

Tonight, let’s come together to praise God for who He is, thank Him for what He has done, and pray for the days ahead. Through it all, God has been good, and He has been faithful!

Our Activities Building caught fire this morning, likely due to an electrical issue. We are so thankful that no one was in the building when it happened and that no one was injured while helping contain and extinguish the fire.

Tomorrow evening, Wednesday at 6:00 PM, we will gather together in the church auditorium for a special combined Praise & Prayer Service. Adults, youth, and children are all invited. We will sing, praise, and pray together as one church family.

There will be no normal Wednesday night activities. Creek Kidz parents, we encourage you to come and worship alongside your children tomorrow night, as this will be a special time for our entire church family to gather together.

Nursery will be provided for children ages 0–4.

Even through the fire, God is faithful. He can bring beauty from the ashes. ❤️

Why did the water never get invited to play hide-and-seek? Because it was always running! 😂

Well, the wait is almost over, and Creek Kidz is RUNNING back TONIGHT! We are so excited to have our Kidz back, and we’re kicking things off with our Cool Down Blast!

Things will look a little different this year. Drop-off starts at 5:30 PM at the Creek Kidz Building. Parents, drive under the awning just like you do for pickup, and someone will be there to check your Kidz in. Please do not drop off at the Activities Building or before 5:30.

Food will now be served in the Creek Kidz Building. Tonight, we’ll have a snack ready when they arrive at 5:30. On regular Wednesday nights, Bible study starts at 6:00 PM and pickup is at 7:00 PM.

💦 Tonight is a little different! Instead of Bible study, our 1st–6th graders will head to the softball field for our Cool Down Blast! Wear something you can get wet in, and you may want to send a towel for them to sit on for the ride home.

Our Little P Kidz will have inflatables and playground fun tonight!

I also need 6 volunteers who are willing to get wet and help run teams tonight. If you’re willing to jump in and help, please let me know!

We may be getting soaked on the outside tonight, but our prayer for this year is that our Kidz come to know the Living Water that only Jesus can give.

🚧🔧 VBS Night 3 is complete! 🔧🚧

Tonight we learned a powerful truth: we cannot fix our sin on our own. No matter how hard we try, only Jesus can rescue us from our sin and restore our relationship with God.

Throughout His life, Jesus was many things to many people. He was a teacher, a friend, a healer, and a miracle worker. But most importantly, He is our Savior. Because of His love for us, He died on the cross, rose again, and made a way for us to be redeemed.

We can’t wait to see everyone tonight for our final night of Junkyard Redemption! Be sure to join us for Family Night in the sanctuary at 7:15 as we celebrate everything God has done this week through VBS.

🐷 We are still collecting offerings for our Kiss the Pig competition, so bring your offering tonight and help decide who will be kissing the pig!

See you tonight at the Junkyard where God takes what is broken and makes it new!

The Junkyard was full of smiles, laughter, worship, and lots of energy as our kids and adults showed us how to “Dance Like You’re Redeemed!”

Happy Wednesday Creek Kidz families!

Why are roller skates so good at making friends?
Because they always know how to roll with the crowd! 😄

Tonight is our end of the year Wednesday night party at the Lucedale Skating Rink and Arcade from 5:00–7:00 PM for kidz 1st-6th grade! We are so excited to celebrate an awesome year together.

Parents, please please please make sure kids are picked up by 7:00 PM. We have to be completely out of the building at 7:00.

This will be our last Wednesday night event for the summer. We have loved every minute of this year with your kids and can’t wait to see what God has in store this summer through camp and VBS. We will kick back off on September 2 with our Splash Kickoff!

If you still need to complete Kidz Camp forms, please see me tonight at the skating rink.

Also, VBS registration for kidz is happening now! VBS t-shirts are still available to order through May 24 for $12.

Since it’s our last night before our party, I figured I would start with a joke.

Why did Ruth dislike Joshua?

Because Joshua judges Ruth. Ha ha ha!

Tonight is our Recognition Service, and we are so excited to celebrate all that our kids have learned this year. There will be no Wednesday night meal tonight.

Please try to have your kids there by 5:45 so we can get everyone lined up with their teachers. We will be in the sanctuary so there will be plenty of room for parents and families to attend.

Tonight we will recognize our kindergartners who will be moving up to Creek Kidz next year and our sixth graders who will be moving up to student ministry. The kids will also get to share some of the things they have learned throughout the year.

Please remember to wear your vests and sashes. If you have questions about placement, please refer back to last week’s message with the pictures.

Also, immediately following the Recognition Service, we will have a Creek Kidz Camp meeting for all kids going to camp this summer and all chaperones. We will meet on the piano side of the sanctuary. Please make sure to bring your insurance card, and chaperones, your final deposit is due tonight as well.

Reminder that next week we will have our end-of-the-year party at the Lucedale Skating Rink from 5:00–7:00 PM. Pizza will be provided.

Tonight is our RA Race! We will have our meal at 5:30, and the races will begin at 6:00 in the Creek Kidz building. The girls will be watching and cheering on the boys, so we encourage parents to come out and support them. Once your child has finished racing, you are welcome to head out if needed. Little Praisers will have their regular class.

Reminder that we will be singing What an Awesome God this Sunday morning with the adult choir. This is the song we’ve been working on during Children’s Church and Wednesday night Creek Kidz.

Next Wednesday night, May 6, will be our Recognition Service. Kids will wear their vests and sashes that were sent home last week. If your child was not here, they can pick theirs up tonight at the welcome desk. There will be no meal that night. Please arrive with your child at 5:45 and join us in the sanctuary. This is a special time to see all that the kids have learned this year and to recognize our kindergarten and sixth grade students as they promote.

After the Recognition Service on May 6, we will have a Kids Camp meeting. If your child is attending camp, please plan to stay and bring your insurance card information.

Lastly, on May 13, we will have our skating party from 5:00 to 7:00 at the Lucedale Rink and Arcade.

Can’t wait to see everyone tonight as we cheer on our RAs. They have worked so hard on their cars!
