Free Fishing Weekend - This Saturday and Sunday, June 6 & 7, no Kansas fishing license is needed. Residents and out-of-state visitors may enjoy fishing on any public waters. Other regulations remain in effect including local fishing permits where required.

Sadly, the few ruin it for the many. My cabins will be closed next year for the Sylvan Alumni weekend. I do not tolerate people who damage property and then try to get out of it by claiming there was a mouse in a cabin in a rural location. Duh. We are farm country. They are lucky they didn’t have a skunk in the bed since they left the cabin door open all night. I cannot understand these type of people. Two years in a row nonetheless.
