Our mission with Anchor Point is becoming more and more clear as we take steps forward:

-To educate students individually and personally, meeting each individuals needs to achieve academic success.

-To educate parents and the community of alternative education resources in order to make an informed decision for the best educational path for their child.

The second is very important to us. We do not believe Anchor Point is the best fit for every student. And, that’s ok! In order to achieve number two, we can’t be restricted on our social media. So, we’ve moved to this page here!!

The deadline to make a school choice is TODAY!

If your child has been awarded a TEFA voucher, you must make a school choice by midnight.

We are having our Back to School Bash, August 8th from 5:30-7:30!

This is mostly for all currently enrolled families to meet, see the school if you have not, and meet your classmates.

If you are still looking for a school home, we would love to talk with you and, will have plenty of s’mores to share if you’d like to stop by!

We have an amazing space and are filling it up. These are some things our students could use and/or would benefit from.

If you have anything on the list that is gently used, clean, and you would like to donate, we are not stuck on brand new! Please reach out!

As we begin to prepare for the upcoming school year, I think of and see all the back to school community support and it makes my heart so happy!

While we do have an Amazon wishlist, we are looking for PARTNERS for each of our students.

As a mother who has experienced the ups and downs of doing it alone at times, I look back and know there is no way I would have made it without the community support I received along the way. That supportive, safe foundation is exactly what we want to build here at Anchor Point.

An Anchor Point that is supportive and safe for students and families!

Our group is small, and each student comes from a unique background socially, emotionally, financially, and behaviorally. Because they are unique human beings, their needs are unique too! Just like you!

Update!!!

Our younger student room is shaping up beautifully, but we have a few spots left for middle schoolers (5th-8th graders) who need a smaller environment instead of a massive junior high crowd.

We do a 4-day week, hands-on projects, maximum 1:6 ratio, and truly individualized learning.

If you know a local family whose middle schooler dreads the big traditional school environment and would thrive in a tight-knit, low-drama space, could you tag them below or share this?
