Today, we give thanks for the work of our hands, the opportunity to serve others, and the rest and renewal God provides.

As a new week begins, there are plenty of opportunities to gather, grow, and serve at First Cumberland!

The Deacons are collecting macaroni and cheese and cereal for Boys Ranch. Pick up an extra item during your next shopping trip and place it in the collection box in the Narthex.

🎃 **It’s Almost Pumpkin Patch Time!**
We need everyone’s help to make this year’s Pumpkin Patch a success. Please sign up in the book located in the Narthex when you’re able to volunteer.

What a joyful Sunday at First Cumberland Presbyterian Church!

Thank you to Lynn for sharing the message of the Good News and reminding us of the many ways God’s kingdom is revealed in our lives.

Ramona reminded our children—and all of us—that while money has financial value, the Lord places far greater value on the kindness, love, and compassion we show others.

A special thank-you also goes to Rolla for doing a wonderful job as our pinch-hit song leader in Ken Smith’s absence, and to Mary for providing the beautiful piano accompaniment as we lifted our voices together—including the joyful reminder, He Has Made Me Glad.

We are grateful for everyone who worshiped with us today. All are always welcome at First Cumberland! ❤️

The First Cumberland Presbyterian Church office will be closed through next week (Sept 3 - Sept 11) while remodeling work is completed.

What a wonderful Sunday at First Cumberland Presbyterian Church!

Lynn Harms delivered this week’s message, “The Kingdom of God Is at Hand,” reminding us to recognize God’s presence and answer His call in our everyday lives.

Ken Smith and Rolla Randell blessed us with a special musical performance of “Pie Jesu,” and Ramona Conard introduced us to the “Teaspoon Prayer”:

🙏 P — Please ask God to continue guiding and blessing your life

Following worship, we enjoyed plenty of hot dogs, ice cream, laughter, and fellowship together!
