⏳ Just a few more days left!! June 30th is the last day to sponsor a child through Compassion International and help bring them out of poverty in Jesus' name.

Just over a year ago, Pastor Jesse & Brenda had the opportunity to travel to El Salvador and see Compassion International's work up close, the lives being changed, the way resources are used, and the real, lasting impact we make when we step up to sponsor a child. Compassion is deeply committed to financial integrity, and you can trust that your generosity actually reaches the kids who need it most.

Right now, children from Bolivia 🇧🇴, Colombia 🇨🇴, Ecuador 🇪🇨, Guatemala 🇬🇹, Honduras 🇭🇳, El Salvador 🇸🇻, and Mexico 🇲🇽 are waiting at our Compassion table. You can see their pictures and read their stories. And we believe God has the right family in our church for each one of them.

We want to encourage you: pray about it. Trust God, and let Him lead you. If after a few months life changes and you're no longer able to give, that's okay, grace covers that. Some in our church have committed to just one year of sponsorship, and that is absolutely amazing. Every month matters. Every gift matters. Every child matters.

Maybe your family is the family a child has been waiting for. 🙏

Something really exciting is happening at One Accord Fellowship next month and you are going to want to get your kids signed up for this one.

VBS is almost here and this year the theme is Rainforest Falls. Picture this. Your kids are going on a wild adventure deep into a lush rainforest where every waterfall, every rustling leaf, and every twist in the trail points them straight to the greatness of God!! Through music, games, crafts, Bible stories, and friendships they are going to discover that God is powerful, God is present, and God can be trusted no matter what they are facing.

It is the kind of week that kids talk about for years. The kind of week where something real happens in their little hearts. And honestly it is just a whole lot of fun too!

So save the date, register your kids, and do not keep this one to yourself. Invite your neighbors, your coworkers, your friends down the street. VBS is one of the best gifts you can give a child and there is room for more.

Your story matters.

In Acts 22, Paul stood before a hostile crowd and shared his story. He didn’t start with his accomplishments. He started with who he was before Jesus changed his life. He talked about
-God’s grace in his past,
-God’s power in his transformation, and
-God’s mission for his future.

The same is true for us.

Your story is more than just a collection of a bunch of experiences. It is a testimony of God’s grace at work in your life. The places where you have failed, struggled, doubted, or wandered are often the very places where God’s mercy shines the brightest.

Your story also shows God’s power. Just as Jesus met Paul on the road to Damascus, God still meets people in unexpected moments and places, and changes lives in ways only He can.

And your story has a purpose. And like Pastor Jesse said, God doesn’t just save us from something. He calls us into something. Every believer has been given a mission to point others to Jesus through both our words and our actions.

So how have you seen God’s grace, power, and purpose in your own story? This week, take a few minutes to write down your testimony. Include one way God has shown you grace, one way He has transformed you, and one way He is calling you to serve others. Then pray and ask the Lord to help you find an opportunity to share a part of your story with someone who needs encouragement.

Your story matters because it points to our God who changes lives.

What a wonderful day!!! On behalf of our church family, we just want to say how grateful we are that we got to celebrate and honor the men in our church this morning.

To every man, just know that the Lord sees you, and He loves you deeply. And we have to give a huge thank you to everyone who put in the work to make our Father’s Day family feast happen this morning.

That breakfast was absolutely awesome and we are so thankful for every single person who planned, prepared, gave, and served with such love. Those homemade tortillas and the menudo were a big hit and had everyone going back for more. You all went above and beyond and it showed. God bless each one of you and your families.

“The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.” Numbers 6:24-26

Happy Father’s Day to all the amazing dads, granddads, and father figures in our church family! We are so excited to celebrate with you this Sunday and we are getting ready!! We want you to kick off your morning with us in the best way possible.

Come hungry because we are throwing a breakfast feast starting at 8:30am! Bring the whole family, grab a plate, and just enjoy some good food and good company together. There is truly nothing better than sharing a meal with people you love.

And then stick around because the morning only gets better from there. We will be going into Bible study, followed by worship, and then a message from Pastor Jesse that you do not want to miss.

Psalm 103:13, “As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him.” What a beautiful reminder of how deeply we are loved.
