Could it be that you have never had any real faith expression in your life but events and circumstances have brought you to a place of inquiry? Whatever the reason, we are glad that you have ended up here and we desire to be of help in your quest to discover the plans and purposes that God has for you. As our guest we want you to know who we are and to have an introduction to what we consider to be core beliefs in the life of our church family. First Baptist Church is a community of baptized believers and followers of Jesus Christ seeking individually and collectively to fulfill the Great Commission task as given by our Lord—“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you” (Matthew 28:19-20).
