First Baptist Church is a community of baptized believers and followers of Jesus Christ seeking individually and collectively to fulfill the Great Commission task as given by our Lord in Matthew 28:19-20. Church membership has played a vital role in your life or the life of your family and you are looking to continue in that established tradition of involvement in a local community of faith. Maybe
you have gotten out of the habit of going to church and you are looking to get “plugged” back in. Could it be that you have never had any real faith expression in your life but events and circumstances have brought you to a place of inquiry? Whatever the reason, we are glad that you have ended up here and we desire to be of help in your quest to discover the plans and purposes that God has for you. As our guest we want you to know who we are and to have an introduction to what we consider to be core beliefs in the life of our church family.
