We all played red light green light as a kid. You go on when the leader says green and stop when they say red. Easy game and sounds simple. Until we put God in as the leader and we begin playing.

Jonah is a good example of how not to ‘play the game’ as he decided obeying God wasn’t worth it. We learned it is always best to obey God the first time and trust that His way always turns out to be the best!

We are starting a series in the minor prophets today and today we learned about Gods faithfulness shown through Hosea (picture of God) and Gomer (picture of Israelites).

The Israelites took God for granite (hehe) and didn’t remain faithful to him. We want to learn from that and choose to follow God faithfully!

His love for us is solid as a rock, therefore, we can trust and follow him!

We are also memorizing the 12 minor prophets in book order over the next few weeks and this week we have 4: Hosea, Joel, Amos, Obadiah.
