It is with great sorrow that Greta Smith has gone to her eternal reward. Greta was the founder of Brother John’s Catholic Books and Gifts. She built a wonderful ministry in the store. We were honored to purchase the store from her in 2007 and we knew we had big shoes to fill. Thanks to wonderful staff, especially Florence Rivas, and great customers we hope we have been able to make Greta proud. A Holy Rosary will be prayed for Greta on Thursday Evening at 6pm and then Mass will be celebrated Friday morning at 10am. Both will be at St. John Neumann Catholic Church in Lubbock. Eternal rest grant unto Greta, Oh Lord, and let Your perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul and the souls of the faithful departed rest in peace.
