Congratulations to our own Sam Gregory, a LakeRidge member and member of the West Plains Conference delegation, who has been reelected to the Global Methodist Church’s Finance, Administration, Pensions, and Benefits Committee.

We are grateful for Sam’s willingness to serve the greater Church and proud to have him representing LakeRidge and the West Plains Conference at General Conference.

Church-Wide Experience Starts September 13

Each fall, LakeRidge engages in a “Church-Wide Experience” that involves the entire congregation reading a book together. During this time, Pastor Lyndol uses themes from the book as a backdrop for how the Bible teaches and informs. It is a chance for the body of Christ to come together in a holistic and focused way. This fall, the book we will be using is The Missing Messiah by Kyle Idleman & Mark Moore. If you still need a book, it can be purchased online at places like Mardel's, Christianbooks.com, and Amazon.

Holy Grill is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy good food and fellowship! This week we will have meatball Italian wrap, Italian pasta salad, white chocolate raspberry parfait. Meals are $9, and children under 5 eat free with a meal of grilled cheese, chips, and a pudding cup.

Join us Sunday, September 13, at 6pm in the Wesley Chapel for the opportunity to encounter more of God’s presence as we offer Him our prayers and praise. We would love for everyone to attend and children are always welcome. We will have the nursery (7 yrs and under) available upon request.
